How much PDR // MDR is necesary to became totaly immune to (elements+magic // physical damage ) - with lvl 40 ES (as long as you don t run out of mana of course) ?

Can some one post a formula ex: to take 0 life damage from say 20k dam fireball//blizzard//blessedhammer (whatever ies i lnpw bh damage can never get this high ) you need - function(20k dam,95 dam red ES, 0.17 pvp penaly) => x MDR .

Same for PDR. You could even paste tables.

here's some MDR/PDR equip :

perfect "of Life Everlasting sufix " (Circlets & Ammys) 25 PDR /
*ciclet can get 1-2 sockets

Sol rune in armour(body/shield/helm) 7 PDR /
Mal rune in armour(body/shield/helm) / 7 MDR

Perfect Gladiator Bane (unique body armour) 20 PDR / 20 MDR
(+1 socket)
Perfect Gerke's Sanctuary (unique shield) 16 PDR / 18 MDR
(+1 socket)
Dwarf Star (unique ring) / 15 MDR
Crescent Moon (unique amulet) / 10 MDR

circlet//whatever 3 socketed helm
shield with 4 sockets - monarch
safety crafted recipes

so you can get around 110 MDR or PDR
and around 80 MDR&PDR in the same time

Couple this with slvl 40 ES and calculate how much an oponent must deal at once to deliver 1 HP damage.(the last hp after OW and poison have done their devious work ) . Is is possible to put togher a succesful PVP build using
this ? (enough mana / mana regen / tele speed/ damage output).Since we aim to take zero life damage rezistances = useless. Keep in mind that you would rarely need max MDR//PDR - usualy the ones delivering OW//Poison dam won t have the power to get the last 1HP and the heavy hitters (elemetal casters ) who would require too much MDR//PDR to achieve complete imunity wont have OW//Poison - so you could have just enough MDR//PDR to greatly reduce their Damage towards you while not completly nullifing your combat effectivnes.

A real guide would probably like this :


vs Bone Necros

Physical Dam Max - pittiful (GUMBY)
Elemental Dam Max : 9k boneSpirit ( ? accurate ? )

so you will need ~ 40 MDR and some PDR

Gladiator Bane (+ Mal) + 1 Dwarf - rest of equipment slots free for + mana//skills//fastcast//......


vs BVC barbs:

Elemental Dam Max : say 2k ( ? accurate ? )
Physical Dam Max : say 15k ( ? accurate ? )
OW/Poison : yes -

PDR need to negate = x
MDR need to negate = y

so they can bring you to 1 HP -> need to emphasize in PDR equip -

helm - 2 sol of life everlasting - 39 PDR
barmour - sol gladiator - 27 PDR (and 20 MDR )
ammy - of life everlasting -25 PDR

rest of equipment slots free for + mana//skills//fastcast//......

VS Fire Sorks

Elemental Dam Max : say 20k ( ? accurate ? )
Physical Dam Max : say 0
(watch out for that widowmaker :P)
OW/Poison : no

PDR need to negate = 0
MDR need to negate = 150 (not calculated just my supposition)

as you can see - the 150 MDR is rather too much . balance must be achieved
say 80 MDR and rest of equip free to damage output.

What would the killing skill be ? (FO/Fireball/Ligtning) ?

FO seems like the best PVP skill of the three.
Ligtning + TS to make use of the Litning skillers requireed for lvl 40 ES
FireBall to use Fire skillers (enhance warmth).

This seems like true research matterial but is for some one more knolegeable than me :D.

WWsins would easily kill you (OW/Venom), Venomancers could also beat her without trying too hard. Also, even if you manage to get all the gear, a decent BvC would still kill you. You should know that ES applies before resists and absorb, so a single 20'000 FB would take away 2500 mana. A few FBs and you're out of mana (and out of luck).

does venom bypass ES for that last 1 hitpoint ?

i don t say you ' ll be able to tank them (wolfbarbs maybe :D ) but be able to take some hits - the ideea is to teleport around fast enough not to get hit all that often - an in between hits your mana pool should have time to regenerate - especialy in mana potting is not banned where u play her

Considering no PDR% (like Ber rune) or Absorb (Ravenfrost, Safety Shields) this should work:
Damage * 0.05 * 0.17 - X = 0

Where Damage is the amount of damage you take from a hit, and X is your variable (MDR/PDR). :)

hmm so 12k dam fireball = 100 dam to life and 2000 dam to mana
need 100 MDR to negate

hmm
20k dam fireball = 167 dam to life and 3333,3 dam to mana

167 MDR - that and some decen FCR imposible :(

would the fire absorb from dwarfs help a bit ?

If you are fightning/tanking casters, than switch to Insight for Massive Mana regeneration.
