Playing Hell with lvl 82 sorc, thought to do some baal runs,*bam* diablo didnt close it just made me to come back to *start* window. *Internet explorer has seen an error and the program has to be closed, sorry for interruption* Or something like that. This makes me sick, dying isnt fun, which we all know so any1 have suggestions how to dealt with this problem? Thank you
PS: Im using MSN right now,and it uses explorer to connect,And if im offline with explorer i cant connect to MSN.

Your computer is most likely crawling with spy - and adware. Using Mozilla might stop the pop-ups, but it's more like hiding the problem rather than finding a solution for it. It makes things worse in the long run, which probably happened with you.

First, make sure you have a decent virus scanner. Second, if you haven't already, download and install the following software:

Ad-Aware (http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html)
Spybot - Search & Destroy (http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.html)
Hijackthis (http://www.merijn.org/downloads.html) (scroll a bit down for this one)

First, do a scan with Hijackthis and save the log. Don't fix anything yet, just save the log, unless you know what you are doing. Hijackthis also detects stuff that your computer might need to operate correctly, that's why you shouldn't fix anything yet. Post the log on a specialized forum (http://forums.techguy.org is a nice example, but there are more) and make note of what you need to fix. Alternatively, you can also PM me the log and I will let you know.

Reboot your computer in safe mode. First, do a virus scan and get rid of all possible viruses on your system. Run Hijackthis again, and now fix what was needed to be fixed. Then, run Ad-Aware and Spybot - there, you can (and should) safely delete whatever they detect.

I hope this information helps. Keep us updated.

If you don't already have a virus scanner, AVG Free (http://free.grisoft.com) is a popular choice since it's easy to use.

Also, if you choose to use Spybot, be sure to make use of the Immunize function to prevent future problems by spyware.

If you and/or your computer is still alive, Toffee, can you tell me if my PM helped any? I am certain I didn't make you break your computer, but a reassurance would always be nice. :)

If you use ad-aware and still there happens to be a few viruses that stay, you may need to reformat your pc to delete them. All virus and adware removing software requires you to buy the program to have true virus removing, otherwise you will always have a few main viruses that remain. If you choose to reformat your pc, immediately install firefox, delete all short cuts to explorer so you dont use it and install windows service pack 2.
