What do you mean? before ''now'' you played on single player? or did you played non-expension?

To my knowledge, only thing you can "transfer" on a Battle.net account is being converted from non-expension to expension, or transfering items from a character to another ( same realm and you must have acess to the characters )

Characters from single player can't be used on battlenet. You can't transfer them to other realms, change from ladder to nonladder and vice versa, switch from or to hardcore or from expansion to classic. You can convert them from classic to expansion, however.

In addition to this, you can use your Single Player characters on Open Battlenet. But specifically for that reason Open Battlenet is infested with hacked characters, because they are stored on your local machine and you can do anything you want with them. In general, Open Battlenet is not a very enjoyable experience.

EDIT: I don't really see any problem with the understandability of the original post, Wurmskull. I don't know if it's just me, but I don't think there are many ways to interprete the sentence "im starting to play d2x on the net".
