Screen flicker

When i load D2, i can see the blizzard logo movies just fine but the menu is messed up. It's like my screens on drugs. Could it be my monitor because ever since my dad needed the newer one, ive had to use one that only works on 640x48a and the 1024xsomething one. Help Please!!

How do i find out what kind of grafix card i have?

install the the latest direct x drivers from microsoft.

You should be able to view your graphics card from your control panel. If not, look it up under system and hardware in your control panel.

If you don't know what it is, it's most likely the basic card (intel graphics) which runs fine with d2.
