Keys? i really need some help

I play d2x off and on, it's been about a month and i didn't even know there was a new patch. so what are these keys for? who is this lilith guy i've heard about? can i just kill the people in normal and get the keys or do i have to do it in hell? when you kill the uber bosses, do they drop anything special?

The keys are for opening the portal to one of 3 bosses (Lilith, Uber Izual, Uber Duriel). This Lilith is just a beefed up version of Andariel. To get the Keys, you must kill Countess, Summoner, and Nihlathak in Hell. When you kill the Uber bosses, they drop ONE Hellfire Torch Large Charm and a number of Standard of Heroes, depending on the number of people in the game. Hope that helps.

Just to correct you some, when you kill Lilith, UDuriel, and UIzual they dropp an artifact witch is Diablo's horn, Mephistos brain and Baals Eye. When you transmute those in the cube in act 5 it will open a portal to UberTristram where you'll find the brothers Mephisto Baal and Diablo, all with a pumped strengths and skills. Like Mephisto with conviction aura and is lightning enhanced. This combo makes him the most dangerous too. There are few builds that can solo Uber Tristram, and a hammerdin is not one of them.

so can you keep killing summoner/countess/nith again and again so they drop those keys, then you can go through the procedure, and go to uber tristram like 10 times? or is it just limited to one item like the annihulus charm?

if so people keep trading keys, wouldnt that be nice if u keep killing countess and trading keys away? please make a detailed guide. for example:

kill summoner for a key, and u can only do it once, then kill countess, then nith. Transmute them making this 'thing' and go thru uber tristram, what happens if u die or quit game? Then you will have to make horn again. Until you kill uber tristram, once u do it wont allow u to go in again. Something like that, i need a detailed one so i wont go trading away keys and mess my game up :D

akadevil: There is no limit to the number of keys or organs you can hold or find. It's possible for up to 5 keys to drop at once from each of the countess, summoner, and nihlathak. When you open a portal to any of the ubers (including uber-tristram), the portal is open in that game only. If you go to a new game, the portal will not be open. Each character can hold only one Hellfire Torch at a time (like annihilus) and the Torch can not be traded in the trade screen (also like annihilus), but finding the Torch is not a quest. You can keep doing uber-tristram over and over...you just have to mule/trade your torch before you can pick up another one. There is no in-game penalty for trading keys, organs, or torches. (Note: keys and organs CAN be traded in the trade window.)

i've got a question. you all have it about portals and stuff and with the keys. i've found all the key's, all 3 off them, BUT how to open these portals? i've already tried it with a tome of town portal, similar to how to open a cow game, but it wouldn't work. i want to beat uberandariel, uberizual, and lilith. so i can get the horn's brains and stuff. so my question is: how can i open the portal(s)? thx very much!

Just transmute the Key of Destruction, Key of Hate, and Key of Terror in the cube to open the portal. No, you don't have to include a TP Tome in the cube.

Yes, but you could get the WP first and still be able to run him. And Pindleskin too. :)
