[L] Smiter for the Ubers... What I have so far

Hey Guys,

I've never played a smiter before, so I'm looking for advice on what I need to be "good enough" to solo the ubers. I don't have anywhere near good enough equip so far (this is the first week of ldr though), but I wanted to get your opinions on the most attainable/affordable set up that will still be good enough to solo the ubers.

Helm - Guil's Face

Armor - ?

Wep - ?

Sheild - ?

Gloves - ?

Boots - Goblin Toes

So I only have two of the bases covered so far, but I do have good enough items where I should be able to trade for most of the others. Once again, I'm looking for the most economical set-up that can solo the ubers.

life tap this is the only thing u need

if u cant get exile (think u cant get it yet ) or draculs use magic wand with charges i think u can get one of towns folks (im not 100 % sure if life tap swpawns as a charge on wands but if it doesnt get some1 to cast life tap on them)

as for shield go for any elite version of pala shields (smite dmg)

nice resists are always welcommed

If you or someone else could please give specific suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. I'm on ladder, so I need to be as economical as possible, while still being effective. Thanks.

since ladder has reset a few days ago..

shaftstop seems to spawn ez enough

4pdiamondshield with deflection.

lifetap wands dont last and once it runs out while youre surronded by monsters you wont have the time to recast lifetap. if you do try to recast lifetap theres a chance of you being killed on the process so gudluck on finding draculs

stormlash for more crushing blow is a must unless you are fast and able to create grief. if your not able to get storm lash just get a scepter with pala skills

good choice of helm boots for crushing attack

I should be able to create a grief soon... is it the best for sure for a smiter/zealer combo? I'm planning to follow Pogue's guide in the sticky. How much better is grief than stormlash?

So I should be able to solo the ubers w/ the set-up listed above? Will I get enough damage with the 4soc pdiamond sheild?

im looking at the economical perspective (or cheap non-runeword alternative)

grief is the best and no other weapon can top that however Lo is quite valuable and expensive therefore good luck finding it

stormlash is good they are cheap and that they have crushingblow

guilema 35 goblin toe 25 stormlash 30ish forgot the exact #

thats about 90% without grief. or if you do get lucky and get a grief then you do 60 cb plus the phantom grief damage.

immagine a 100%all res sacred rondache or sacred targe.. that will negate the elemental attacks of monsters. or goodluck finding Hoz and upping it. i suggested 4pdiamond because of mephistos conviction is very very powerful considering 5% draculs is a low chance of casting smite thats alot of smite before you tap in to their life
