Ladder Nec

So I've gotten myself I reasonably high lvl ladder nec and its time to start thinking about gear. This guy is basically a pure summoner. One question:
I'm loooking at Homunc for end-game shield(its really a sweet piece of eq) and I wanna know, do ppl recommend maxing block or just sinking lots of point (maybe about 380~) into vit?

I'm a big fan of non-blocking skelemancers.

Heck, on last ladder even my Bonemancer was non-blocking... he had a few minions (and a good bone armor), after all.

max vita, definitely. The summons should protect you from getting hit and if you do happen to get hit, you'll have the life to take it

On a summoner I usually go for ~50% block. Afterall most of HP's will come from equip - so I can spare some dex to protect myself from damage that will sometimes get to me.
