If you have a level 1 Bone Armor that has, say, 20 life, and some monster hits you for 100 damage, does the Bone Armor absorb all of that damage, or will your hit points be reduced by 80 (100 damage - 20 bone armor life)?

As long as all of the damage is physical damage, the bone armor will absorb 20 hitpoints of it. You will take the remaining 80.

I wonder why this question comes up every now and then?
Elementary math for the last few milllennia has always suggested that 100-20=80, and *not* 100-20=0.
EDIT: Dear KnightTerror, elementary math also says 100-20=80, not 100-20=100
