Just make a new character to ladder. It is NOT that hard.

When you make a new character, there is a check box that says "ladder". Click it.

Easily.
To play on ladder, click the "Ladder character" checkbox when creating a new character. Once he has been created you can't change him to be Ladder/non-ladder or Softcore/Hardcore.

I started a new Druid in ladder and am lvl 6.Can`t see it in the ladder-box.Thought I did wrong.

that's because there's probably hundreds of other characters higher than yours now. The ladder box only shows the top 99 characters.

Actually, it shows either the top 200 in each character class, or the top 1000 overall.:D

oh, I guess it must have changed with the new ladder or I wasn't looking carefully before.
