Hello. Iam new to both forum and playing druids.
I was thinking about building a rabies/grizzly combo, with spare points into lycan or fury.

Before I start experimenting, is there anyone here who knows how HoW and might(nm act2 merc) applies to the summoned grizzlys damage?

I looked at the grizzly chart and skill planner on d2items and they don't seem to match. (or I don't see it)

Anyways, according to d2items skill planner a lv20 grizzly damage almost 1000. And HoW is +153%. That mean my grizzly damage rougly 2500.(?)

How would my mercs might aura(let's say +200%) be applied here?
I see two ways, 4500 or 7500 damage.

4500 = 1000 * (1+1,5+2)
7500 = 1000 * 2,5 * 3

i was under the impression that the ed from HoW and might merc added to the ed from grizzly

as a level 20 grizzly does 550-750 dmg, but has 215% ed on it, so 100% added from other sources (aura) would add about 200 or 250 more dmg to grizzly

Yes. the Enhanced damage percentages are added up together. the base bear damage is based upon the current level of grizzly bear you have when it attacks a monster. the pre-buffed, pre-casted grizzly with both higher ED and higher base damage gets HALF transfered.

the ED stays after pre-buffing it with a hoto or whatever you would use, but the base drops to what is shown. its like a middle comprimise damage wise, but still a good thing to do. There are also 3 attacks that the bear does. I am not sure if in this version all of the attacks are the same, but in 1.09 I tested alongside Kirsty to determine how it works. It seems there was an auto-hit, a non auto-hit and another non-auto hit that did different things slightly, bite, maul, and headbutt did different amounts of damage and some pierced armour easily.

1.10 seemed to level this off a bit, but still there were three different attacks, the ED% vs base thing on prebuff worked again, and well, thats about that.

so might, How and etc help. HoW helps especially for giving a nice attack rating boost. I love to see my old bear again with Amp on a monster, beats the crud out of it. was a 46 bear though. so he was a tad strong.
