My Classic sorc ranks about - 1,000,000 :D

Seriously, she is only level 50 so I am sure she is way down the ladder, near the bottom

Had a softcore zon in the 150ish range for a while near the start but I get tired of my chars too fast to keep one up on the ladder. Watching the ladder rankings over the first 24 hours of a new ladder is pretty amusing.

I've got 3 chars in the top 100 overall ladder on USWest. Most importantly, they are 'unusual' chars, not cookie-cutter builds, and unusually strong:

Whirlwind (martel barb w/ poison) + warcry, the ONLY way for a hi lvl barb to actually play in a game and lvl. Only a handful of high lvl barbs have figured this out, never ceases to amaze me, my first barb years ago had hi lvl warcry.

Poisnova reviver corpse exploder necro slower to make the first kill than most good builds, but once the corpses start appearing, screen clears quickly. :drink:

Pure Warcry barb, uses truckloads of mana, great party char, usually good to wait for an amping necro to join party, then the fun begins....:worship:

A distant ladder char, at lvl 87, an enchantress, with 1310 extra fire damage, very interesting to help rushers, low levels, weak chars, and zealots, ww barbs in river games. High static to help lower hitpoints for the party. :flip:

See y'all next season.

in west,
#4, #9, #15 on front page of overall are mine.

did thousands of cs run in this season. but played not so much time, only
about 3 hours each day. this season was too long.

i had been banning any pickiter in my run, but tired of screamin "turn off XXX"
etc then quit doin pub run. i got some good friends and did lots of priv run
usin quest drop bug. all lord and lady in front page are my team member.

in next season, we will probably do again.

I entered a few of those runs by *BCxxx, the 'i' chars army he has. It was constant pickit with ppl who played with him. He would yell at them after any complaints, but think he got so tired of yelling, he gave up and just went for the experience. Generally, the highest % of players with pickit are experienced players with chars 75-88. Higher chars are so well known that they often refrain from using it. Back before 1.10, all csruns were char lvl 85+, and were all people well known to the rest of us. If they started using pickit, easy to guess who, and we would ban them if they didnt turn off.

Instead, I went almost exclusively in walks this season. Any runs with the name "cs" or "run" or "sora" were doomed to be chaotic with all seals popped and only the seal bosses and diablo of interest. In walks, we would notice pickit, but it was almost always someone who had just entered the walk, so easy to figure out who it was. Players under lvl 75 are usually still 'noobish' and dont know enough about the game to use the cheats.

Going private has its benefits including more sharing of loot, no pickit ever, no pk'ers, no surprises but doesnt get 8 people as much as you would like it. They are good for getting loot AND experience, and not worrying so much about losing Lord title by some noob. But gets boring with such limited numbers of people. Often they open up to a few public runs to get recruits.

Heh chris is almost #1 and #2 on sccl west.. i used to play with him back in .09 in the lau + ro runs (they had a few 99's).. strong sor player, at the time i used barb + ama mostly.. but now i only really play sor, which is why i'm going to east next season :( not many friends there but i have a lot less ping and can play my sorcs very fast there too :P.

I had a 95 sorc on scxl around the front page for the first week or two of the current ladder season named Angelic. Her best rank was #8 o/a #6 sorc but i think she was around level 70 at the time.

Unfortunately my friends who wanted to go to east scl abandoned me, so if you are playing there and have a strong group or remember me from west, gimme a shout.

I was #4 on UsWest Hardcore Ladder in season two. Never had the ganas to go all the way to #1, maybe this season? I'm at work... showed up late, after playing 15 hours straight last night and forgetting to sleep! I was #6 on UsWest when I logged off, at lvl 65.

One thing that is pretty bittersweet about this season is that when the reset-buzz goes away and hardcore is left in the dust for flashy expansion items and uber bosses, we probably won't have enough people to even get a full hell game going, due to the fact that 1.11 thus far has made it very hard to run multiple chars from one pc. Not that any of use do that.. or did that .. anyone else bummed about this fact? Blizz should let the junkies get their fix.. I mean come on, if we are willing to shell out the $$, or acquire in some regard multiple cd keys, it's just more money for Blizz.
