DoubleSwing barb or Zealer?

With the lack of chicken at the moment, I want to take advantage of the fast attack speeds...

I'm forced to choose between a lvl 9 barb or a lvl 12 Zealer

9barb :

Maxed bash, 1 pt into ds
1 pt into sword mastery
Dual clegs swords
+24 helm
+24 breast plate
D.gloves/belt
Someboots.


Simplistic, level 9 so there'll be plenty of fights to be had.

VS


12 pala
Max sac
1pt into Zeal
1pt into might.

+24 max helm
+24 max breastplate
D.belt/gloves
WarScepter with 5 sockets (so about 50 damage..+zeal ideally)
Angelics
+36 sheild with 60%ed



Currently leaning towards the barb, as it's the bare minimum.

I had a cleg sword basher/double swinger hell pa'd and he did not do a lot of damage very fast. I'd advise you to go the route of the ts assassin. Both zeal/double swings damage too low/slow at that lvl.

u have to remember at lvl 12 your zeal is a 2 hit zeal. So if you're dueling you cant really duel up because dueling any other zeal pallys higher then you you are not only outmatched in gear but they will simply hit you more. If you're pking i'd go the barb cuz its fun and ppl say "stupid lvl 9 i own you" however pallys can charge walk and thats a great tool when moving in for the kill. If its a dueler then i'd go with Kime on the TS asn or maybe a jabber. I fought a lvl 9 2 hand zon 2 days ago with my 16 zealot, i caught a little bit of lag, like two seconds maybe, and i was almost dead. She landed 2/2 hits and took me to almost nothing (700 life). Another possibility for you....oh and then i killed her ;)

Has dueling cleaned up at all? If it has I'd go jabber or some such.

well all i'm saying is this lvl 9 zon was trying to pk, and he tried to pk me and of course i fought him cuz i was on my 16 zealot and with a split second lag from running out of town, my DUELER almost died....so lvl 9 zon 1-2 hitting pvm ppl is not unlikely. Who's gonna run from a lvl 9 zon really...

use a jabber with a 200 dam pike... relatively slow attack speed, but its still uninterruptable ^_^


anyway,i got a 13 charger atm. no chicken means they die no matter what, as the guy has 600 life and 67% block.

ya my new 14 that i threw together last night is 500 life max block, should be easy pickings. Whats your charge dmg @ barry? and did u go clegs or max dmg?

hehe, if they dont have a version of mh or chicken out in the first week or so of reset i might have to make a 26 kicker and gather some serious ears, as tons of people seem to be leaning towards the disposadins.
