Possibility of soloing new event

While I guess it's possible to obtain all keys and body parts solo, I'm wondering if I could solo the new event. After reading so many posts of "OMG... we got r***ed..." and stuff like that, it doesn't seem possible to me that I can solo it.

I'm playing alone most of the time, owing to irregular work hours :( and it's really disheartening that I cannot complete the new event and get the Heroes' Standard. I'm on USEast by the way and I'm really looking for people to play with. I dun think I'll mind not getting the charm, but I'd really like to join in the fun of visiting new Tristram.

Some people on this forum already did the tristram event solo. I think one of them did it with barb and another with smiter. Just use search and you'll find the threads.

From what I've heard it's only really soloable by melee chars. Barbs, Zealots, and Smiters with a lot of crushing blow are about the only characters than can drop the three's health fast enough to counter their regen. Casters are mainly there for minion control.

If your Ladder, I'd be happy to lend my barb's assistance. Attempted to solo Trist today, but work called before I was finished. A lot of key runs down the toilet.
