Dont let him help you with any bosses and such. He helped me and then fled with the hellfire charm. Its a shame there is people like this around the forums, but its alright its just a game and you cant help the fact that 12 year olds roam the realms

As I posted in other places, most people turn criminal when they know they won't get caught and can get away.

D2 is just like real life; mark it up to a lesson learned.

Sorry about your wasted time: tight friendships are what's gonna work with this new charm--it's too tempting even for casual friends to resist...

Thats how it goes. Also why I wanted to take them on solo, but sadly, I couldnt fast enough. Mine got stolen by the evil time clock at work.

But a lesson learned, and whenever I get around to key running and obtaining all 3 parts again I'll probably break down and recruit here. Or better yet, ladder will reset and I can make the attempt with the friends I know in real life, just never converted to Ladder.

In trading forums, if some retard burns you for a Anni, a mod techincally has no right to ban the retard, but since the whole point of this forum is about trust + friendship I suppose a mod could ban jjammessssss or w/e the hell the n00b's name is.

He is trying to trade away a torch in the trade forumns below...but of course I believe him when he says that it wasn't yours

not that I would trust him in a trade after this in any case.

Banning him solves nothing. He'll simply create a new account and make a new char and burn someone else. D2 simply revealed the a** that was in him. It's quite irritating but I guess that's life. Imagine when the new hack tools come on. Pickit again... *groan* I'll never be able to pick anything up... lol...

you realize that mods here have access to your ip and they know when a returned bannee makes a new account right? They usually then ban their ip as the next step.

can always use dialup. Or do that ip changing trick.

No I'm not trying to encourage scamming, just like to point out that there is little way to police if anybody decides to "go bad". Just be cautious with who you deal with here on these boards.

Check post count, check his post type, check his join date. Get a general feel of it. Doesn't mean you still won't get scammed as there is always a chance, but you can do your utmost best to reduce that chance if you are cautious with your valuables.

They can always change their IP by getting off the net and getting on again. Since there is really no practical way to police such people, the best is to be cautious and get used to the idea that there are really people like that around.
