and a fine ear it is. I had a nice discussion with the guy while hunting him, a good 20 minutes of polite anti-pk rhetorhics. eventually he took a wp, I asked a question, hopped through two more wp's and found him typing a reply at darkwood. one charge, dead level 13 assy. a fine start.
im using a level 13 paladin called Martin_Silenius.

Well anyways, to answer your stupid question, quite simply, hunting people is fun.
Some people don't judge their pvp success simply by how many ears they've collected......

I for one long ago forced myself to beleive everyone Baranor PKs deserves it.......so many freaking hackers out there he MUST be killing those people right???
Besides this tool was already hostiled and he is standing around chatting???

1702? tell me thats just a random number :) I used to keep all my pkk ears muled so i could reference the pk's ears that we killed. Also pk's dont like admitting defeat (i know i dont) so it's nice to have proof too...but after like 2 accounts of ears I found it a little difficult to maintain 16 mules of ears and I actually put effort into it. I can't see how anyone else would do it :)
I also just made a new 14 charger. Last night I was pking two 20 skele necros with my 16 zealot. I charged in to get close, face to face with the nec's, then i started to zeal....i killed every skele they had and then they left. This made me angry so i've made a new char to kill with so as not to have to use the silly dueler as a pk :)
was kind of a slow night, only 4 ears last night, but they were 2 in the first game and 2 in the second. every game after that was a bust :( slow compared to the 20 ear night before....ppl are starting to learn that they can actually quit the game on their own without the use of chicken.
was also nice to see the banana channel nice and full last night with lots of old faces! yay for bananas!

Na, its not my thing and no I dont ever forsee myself going PK. Now you might see me going PKK which I have done on several occasions, basically its the same thing but I let them hostile!

yup takes real dignity to admit defeat. And while I hunt and kill people who have no chance against me to spoil their hard earned efforts and fun, I wanna make sure I do it with dignity ;)
Beat me in a duel and i'll shake your hand but dying while pk'ing is hard to swallow. I've never been pkk'd so i've never had to admit defeat but I know if i were to die while pk'ing that I'd probably have an excuse for it.

But I havent pked for very long, well kinda, i've pked since chicken. Before chicken I was an avid PKK and would never hostile any pvm's unless it was to flush out someone I was looking for. Theres something so much more satisfying about a pkk in that you're killing the guy who is trying to kill you (as an expected pvm).
Thats not to say all pks are bitter whiners tho. I've had a variety of ppl who after being pkked were pretty good sports about it. Rah was one after he tried pking my leaper by accident he was very friendly :)
Hakka on the other hand was not, and had an excuse for each of the three times we pkked him ^^

its not a random number. i kept count. i run about 1 pkmmm 20-25 ears. i consider everyone above level 9 fair game. if i think they wont kill me in one hit, i attack. i dont care about their level.

thats impressive that you kept track for that long. we used to keep track on our guild forum we had an update for everyone who was pkk'ing... i think i stopped counting when it was like 300pkks:15 deaths or so, something around there. so yeah it was about 1 for every 20 or so, but that was just pkks, theres no way I could keep track factoring dueling ears and pks...i always just tossed away a pk whenever it happened. I'd be curious to know tho :)
I was lookin at the BM site awhile back and they were keeping tally of the number of pks they had and i was looking at the leader and they were all like "omg joo pwnt. how you get so many kills!?" and i'm looking at their numbers and thinking to myself..."i get as many kills as this guy who uses tppk..." it's ridiculous how much of a crutch the hacks become. can't pk without tppk, cant lvl without maphack, cant mf without bots its disgusting really.

ya when i started i didnt count duels either, recently its been so rare to get an ear that you just count whatever you get.
Are you hunting on Euro or stealing some of my ears on East?
Euro. Currently im out of a pk again. remind me not to try and duel level 54 zons with a 13 paladin....
seriously though, that charge bug.... they didnt fix it. annoying as I was standing still instead of moving forward. I had planned to mvoe forward.
ill grab some more charms tomorrow and smack them on another paladin. I bet that a full life setup and a 200 dam pike will also kill people. I got 11 ears... amazing, everyone stops and fights.

i finally got a kill with my 49 bear bomb druid and they go and reset the ladder :( (a real kill that counts)
was pking and some guy got his 76 trapper wearing shako etc.
His traps stun quite a bit but i had max res, no absorb tho so he hurt. It was a hard duel cuz his traps would kill my HoW so if i did land a bomb on him it was without HoW. I couldn't stand still to shockwave him and get him in a stun lock because his traps were eating me up, and if i kept my how alive and let my bear walk after him traps chewed my bear to pieces.
Finally after like 15 minutes of dueling and going to town for mana and life potions, he made the first mistake. He was getting very aggressive with chasing me as I decided playing possum was better then being the aggresor. He finally ran across me horizontally without any LS in the area.
As soon as he crossed my big bears face I snagged him in a shockwave and caught him in a stun lock.
Because he hadn't laid any LS previous to trying to run by me, there was nothing there to kill my HoW or to stop my bear from walking up and taking a bit bite out of him while he was locked up.
So i had him twirling around in stun lock and Bernard the Bear wandered up and made lunch out of him. Wew first real ear for Bear-Bomber and then I lose him to reset :(

I've come back for a bit to HC and got my first ear PKK-ing the other night. The PK left without saying a word.

If some one manages to kill my Pk'er (not a hard thing to do, as they are all disposable) we generally sit around and have a good laugh at it.
When I've offed other pks, people seem to get amazingly pissed that they died...Or leave in silence. I prefer the pissed off one, as they make funnier screenshots.
