i'm 26 and a single dad that plays pretty much only after my son goes to sleep. i have been lucky enough to be friends in the real world with 2 people who play on a regular basis and one who is into WOW now so i don't see him often. there really isnt any way for you to know but i am one of the trustoworthy people. so if you need a rush or some low-mid gear or just to have a muling buddy lmk. i especially would like one or two people with whom i can go after the torch with.

Shoot me an ingame msg sometime if you need help with any particular thing. Lvl 88 Hammerdin that can switch gear to a nasty smiter.

I've been around this game since it started--SC, HC, botted, PKd, PK-PKs, BlueMoon, etc.

I just play SC East for fun now with my daughter and a nephew...laid back.

I'm honest (Stanford Grad--honor code you know...) and I don't scam, steal, cheat, etc. I *am* kinda tired of rushing ppl though....

Anyway, shoot me a message if you want help with something, some non-godly gear, or whatever.

hey monk i toss a new one at ya all lol i am a 38 yr old mother of 2 that play d2 also. the boyfriend got me started and well now he rarely plays and all the kids that i have helped out have either quit or play non ladder i play ladder whisper bloodydrgnfang (lvl 94 javazon , 80 bow zon, 79 assasin) so i can understand the desire to play the game with someone that is older and "wiser" that the teens here.

Wow that sounds utterly pathetic huh? At any rate I'm 28 married with kids and don't like foul mouthed little turds who try and rip you off at every turn. I play with a couple other guys and we play for fun. The guys I play with I know I could drop every single shred of equipment I own and I know it will all be there when I come back and thats the type of people I'm looking to add to my friend list.

So if your a mature, trustworthy, not too hardcore player hit me up! If your not than just leave an old man to wallow in Diablo mediocrity! Thanks for reading!

I could also do some rushing and Chaosing for people who want to get new characters up to speed quickly.

Thanks for all the replies guys and gals! I'm going to start adding folks today. I must warn however I'm very low level (25 sorc and 15 Bowazon). Not looking for rushes or free gear or anything, just want to prowl dungeons killing spawns of satan yada yada yada. Another word of warning, despite having played for 2 years str8 way back in 2000, I'm a newb again having forgot almost everything about this game! This is exactly what Im looking for too!! Im 30 years old, I ve been playing solo for too long trying to stay away from the average b.net player but Im getting tired of being lonely... I d love to find people to play with legit, not rushing (I hate ppl rushing), just having fun, sharing whatever drops and benefiting each other getting more experience and using different builds to complement each other.
Everybody is only thinking about the Uber Bosses but I dont care if I have to start a new char right now, I just want to enjoy the game, I also have a lvl 82 summoner who just finished act 3 in Hell. Im not in a hurry for the uber gear either.

IM 20!! im looking for an older mature person who likes romantic walks on the beach... cough* i mean...

Im 16 and I have many friends (5-6)younger and older that I would trust my account with and I have done so a few times. I used to be a hardcore player, but now I have better things to do such as a job. So If my other group falls through, I'll look you up. That is of course if you don't mind playing with a youngling like myself. :lol:

well seeing as blizzard has just now anounced the ladder reset are you gonna stay with the characters you have now and play non ladder or start a new on ladder.... i was to the point of not restarting got tired of the bots taking the ladder spots. I wanted to mention to all the people who were going on about their chars that Felonious Monk probably wants a Ladder group for the new season. If so, or even if not, I'll tag along, although I will be devoting a lot of energy to Ladder. Hehe, for once I won't be the oldest in the game by at least 6 years. (23 ^^)

This thread caught my eye...I'm in my mid-40's, unmarried, but two kids who used to play (that's how I started playing). Are any of you doing HC Ladder games? If so, I'd love to have a good group of folks to play with.

I'm addicted to the "tension" of HC, but I'm not into seeing how fast I can level. I'll likely have 3 chars: a summoner necro, a shape druid, and a strafe/freezing arrow 'zon...and perhaps at some point a cold or lightning aura'd zeal pally. I hope some of you are interested!

Yeah savvi, I'm on the HC ladder right now. I had a hammerdin, but he met a horrible end in NM A2. A large group of cold skeleton archers knocked his lights out nearly instantly =/ Now i'm training a nova sorc, who's lvl 23. The palladin WAS my attempt to see how fast I could level (and got to level 40), and after losing him, I've decided to take things a tad more slowly. I'm still adjusting to certain HC conventions, like mainly, knowing when to fold my cards and leave an area alone.

Right now I've got a baby Level 25 Tri-Element Sorc and an uber baby Level 3 Bowazon.

I'm 23 and while I don't have any kids of the human variety, I've got a baby of the furry four legged get under your feet and barks at the mailman type.

And she's just as demanding as a real child. :D

I'm usually on at night, after 10 pm. Occassionally on in the afternoon, but that's mostly solo leveling work.

I see the repetition of events, where you make friends, find out which ones you can trust over, at times, a long period, and all your friends slowly move on to other games or quit playing.
One way to slow that process down a bit is to find an online group to game with that espouses the same desires, to have someone to game with that acts in a mature manner, Us older gamers (Im the wrong side of 50) tend to discount that option, or never consider it.
I play almost solely USWest, and play very seldom now, but have had a great experience with an online community that has persisted in all the realms since 1.07 CD2. And it seems many of you may enjoy the type of gameplay to be found there.

Check them out at www.guildmedieval.com.

Many of the gamers there are also longtime members here, as am I.

Well, some of you might recognise me as that annoying pally who stayed on top of the overall ladder until his seventies... but atm I'm into getting a shower, some food, sleep, and keeping my girlfriend somewhere close to satisfied ;) hehe... Anyway, as stated in other threads my acc is *namdron and I am 22 years old.... no family of my own yet, working on that... ATM i'm lvl 89 hammerdin with some very good gear, so just send me requests for trades or questing and I'll be there for you if I am online. I don't do maggot lair (hammers are close to useless) or ancients in hell (way too high risk of dying and that quest gives me no exp) but most any other quest I'll be happy to help out with.

Also, I am very much into priv baals with barbs (BO) and necros (meat 4 teh grinder) as the exp and drops is good, and I can kill while others provide backup (yes, I have salvation aura).

Once again, too long a post for most to read... but if you got this far, feel free to add *namdron to f list and whisper me whenever.... GL on ladder!!
