Help Please

I hate to ask this, but can someone send me a link to one of 'those sites' where I can look for a no CD patch (hack). The CD drive on my old computer is broken, so I can't get the game to run there since the patch. I have a legit copy of the game for both my machines, but the drive problem keeps me from running it on the old one.

And please don't suggest I mount an image of the CD and run it that way. OK, I'll admit it, I am a clueless noob when it comes to computer stuff, and doing this is way over my head. I tried it when the drive first broke, but after about 5 hours of frustration I gave up and resorted to the hack. I've wasted an additional 5-6 hours of game time since the patch again trying to do it with CloneCD and Nero and Daemon Tools, and anything else anyone would recommend. But all I got for my trouble was frustration.

I can access the CD drive on my other machine through my network, but I don't know how to make the game look there for the CD either. If anyone has a SIMPLE, legit solution to my problem I'd certainly go that route. But at this point I'm throwing up my hands again and resorting to a hack.

well not supposed to be advocating 3rd party proggy's but since i used d2loader i guess i'm not the right person to preach ;)

Anyways it's been disabled with the new patch and until someone makes a new one i believe you're SOL. sorry mate.

d2loader has been released for a few days already. It's very buggy from what I hear, but I'll pm a link
