With the above new baddies, do they drop any other items apart from the bits and bobs to make the Tristram portal? i.e. normal boss monster drops?

I am seeing if it is worthwhile pursuing these keys to take them on. As a primarily solo player, going to Tristram would be suicide.

I second this. Does uberD drop annihilus for example? And what kind of a character is it viable to try with. This coming from a player with no hacks whatsoever..

I guess it will take a while since I dont have a char that can kill nilathak safely yet.. LOL. This is such a softcore quest imo. :)

with respect to this i havent done a nihli run in 1.1 since he had that overpowered CE. Has that been fixed at all? Or is it stupid to bother in hell. What kind of char would I need? should i max res? what life am i looking at? basically waht do i need to survive a nihli run. I mean i have a max res max block E shield CL sorc who I could probably do it with but if she popped because i was standing in the wrong spot of CE I don't think Trish would be too happy that i bombed her sorc.

Doing the whole quest only yields one torch for the whole party, and soloing would be impossible so don't even try. Did you really have to make a new thread for this? There are already more than enough.

Yes i agree a hammerdin with stacked resists and natures peace and a good merc can take on nith just fine. You will still want to be careful tho as those zombies can be quite annoying :)

A cold sorc with the right gear is a great Nihlathak runner. No corpses to CE if you can't kill them. :)
