Im sorry but im not sure where to ask this question.
It has been a long time since ive played d2 but im thinking about comming back now that the new patch has ben launched.
I just want to know when the ladder will be reset... Does anyone know?

No one knows. This kind of question is best asked in the Community forum. But they don't know either.

I knew it, it was only inevitable. I guess they wanted everybody to get used to the patch a little, then hit us with another sexy surprise. This is exactly what Diablo II needs. Hoorah!

I thought of perhaps building 3 characters - one for each key... though a frozen orb teleporting sorc might do fine for all of them.
An offshoot of that question... What are the most powerful characters requiring the least about of high lvl (godly) equipment.
Sorc. comes to mind first... Light Assass? BH Paly?

By "key" presumably he means CD-key, nothing to do with the new world events in LoD. It's nice to have multiple CD keys and run the game on adjacent multiple computers so that you can team up with yourself, so to speak. It's great to move items around, or to loot your corpse when your hardcore character dies.

Still doesn't explain his reference to assassins. I know what CDKeys are.

This probaby belongs more in the Player Matchup board, but I'd be interested in some HCCL USeast friendly cooperative play and would be happy to play with reasonable people. I won't be able to play until Thursday though as I'll be travelling until then, though. I'm thinking of starting a Skellimancer, Hammerdin and Javazon to get a few characters going and then branch out to some others. If I find a Raven Claw early then working on an Enchantress would be good or I'd be happy to start a vengenance pally to help all those new MF sorceresses with a nice conviction aura, or some tank-type characters, I'm flexible and not in hurry...
Wow I havent played D2 in a while.....Just got back to refresh my account when saw 1.11 download come up...
Lol well Im really interested in starting again and wondering if anyone would wanna play Ladder Us East....

It is OK to post "player matchup" threads or questions in this forum. It is probably the only one besides the SP forum which allows it. We allow it here because Classic players tend not to browse the player match up forum, and if you do post there, your thread may get buried before any other classic player sees it. So, post away.
Maybe I'll make a sticky for matchups. Whatcha think?

As of 12:30 pm Monday, Blizzard North Standard Time, the ladder chars still say LADDER, and the ladder here is chock full of the same names.
Yet the battle.net site, in a post by XG3, says "The Diablo 2 ladder has been reset, August 8, Monday". People on bnet were laughing about that. So....anyone in the know here? Has it really been reset and Ladder2 is indistinguishable from Ladder3? 11-2 pm is good time to do it.

Finally.. I've been looking for a USEast HCCL game for a long time.. i started solo and I'm lvl 14 now. My account is *UNIX) if anyone wants to give me a whisper.. we can do a norm walthrough if we get enough people. I'll be in op HCCL probably
