[USEast SC Ladder] Reset team, 8 in all, requirements listed within...

Hi all - just trying to put a team together for the ladder reset. The goal here is to get your first character up and running, whether it be for PKing or MFing or just plain ladder climbing. Ideally, we'll go through the game linearly, from Norm to Hell Baal, and then we can split up or do some Baal runs if we're able to, at that point. Please only join the team if you're a respectable mature Community Member (at least 400 posts, perhaps?). The important part though...

Times: Sundays, Weekdays, 10 pm - ??? EST

I'd like to get one character of each class, or at least one character to cover each type of damage, plus one or two support characters (a barb with good warcries or a paladin with a good maxed aura or two).

Please list your account name and two or three characters you are willing to play and that you'll be happy with. The first 8 that meet the requirements will be the team. Bring a friend - it'll make it more fun!

Ok so if we all take our first choices so far we got:

So we've got Lightning, Cold, and Magic covered decently, as well as 1 support character (curses) and some tanks (summons). I think a Barb and a Paladin would add well, or maybe a pair of amazons still. Four slots left open, with 20 minutes remaining if Blizzard sticks to schedule. I'll keep updating so that whenever everyone gets back on, we can just add everyone to our friends list and join up to start questing (assuming of course, that the 1.11 patch coincides with the ladder reset).

We can get together regardless, but the ladder will reset eventually. It only makes sense that they reset the ladder while they try to do away with botting, since all the botters eat up the top ladder spots anyway.

Ok - no ladder reset today. I've heard rumors it will be next Monday, but we all know Blizzard...

Until then, let's add each other and look for the rest of our group. If we run into Lillith in the mean time, message everyone and we'll all kill her.

From what i hear ladder is to reset august 15th but i can't be sure on this just a rumor. So yeah it's a possiblity......or not :( .

Well like I said, feel free to add us all to your list now and then when the ladder resets we'll all be ready to go.

If anyone currently is on ladder and wants to help do some key runs and kill some uber bosses, also add me. My MF sorc has been re-outfitted for speedy key runs, and I'm building an assassin now for boss-killin' so hopefully before the ladder reset I can get a hellfire torch or two.

I am going to be able to play new ladder from friday morning till late sunday night.Unfortunatly I cant before I work on a 12 hour shift and it takes all my days( work sleep eat wash and repeat)

I would be very pleased to join the group. I know what there is to be known about diablo.

I am interest in building my first hammerdin on reset. I do believe I am a mature player(i am actually 22).

Theres already a magic caracter but at least concentration would help the skeleton and the possible barb joining ya guyz.

well i dont post on here much, but ive played d1 when i was younger and d2 from the first day i quit to move on to wow but i plan i taking a break starting this week , and wow just in time for a reset id love to play with you guys in a group, running through the game at reset. im a pretty hardcore gamer so at the start ill be focusing on d2 for quite a while after the reset

pally is my fav class i have tons of exp there id love to make a pure smiter, but that is not very favorable in fresh reset so i can hold off on the smite being all maxed from about 60 to about 80 and toss in zeal i think that is a nice addition and not very much change, it will be of help to your team you need melle, *EDIT* forgot to say what else i play i have a bunch of pre 1.10 exp with barbs i could do ww if ud rather that or a shapechange druid , basiacly smite my favorite attack in the game being my top choice, plus it will help us kill the ubers once we get to that

Everything looks good, though we'll have to secure a Call To Arms relatively quickly so we can do hell baal runs together (to give us BO, BC). I think 3 paladins will work well, and we have 3 sorcs to share in the teleporting and rushing, oh and plenty of magic damage. Any other team opinions? Don't forget to add everyone to your /f list and also update your account info via this thread if you change accounts for 1.11 Ladder Season 3. Great to have everyone aboard!

Would very much be interested in playing in some of ur games....my play time is 2am to 5am and 4pm to 7pm and sat all day and night and sun till 5pm
1. blizz/fb sorc for keys
2. zealot
3. summon/curse nec high on the curse skill lvl
4. and last a fury zon for cows ....need those soc items
But first and foremost we need to lvl these chars in baal runs and i assume u want the chars at least lvl 90 for the uber 3?

Account info/build update! If anyone has any suggestions on missing spots in the team, feel free to post it up. Also, Sunday we should all try to meet online at some point (how is 9 pm EST?) just to say hi and confirm our accounts and so on. Monday the ladder reset is going to be a "surprise time" according to Blizz, so...yeah, I'll be on sometime in the afternoon to start, and then I'm sure I'll be on all night as well.

Backups - there is no guarantee that there will be room in our frequent games, but I'd definitely be more than happy to add everyone to our list so that if we have openings in our game we may fill them for the experience and drops. I'd suggest that if our backups want regular experience and full games that they find a team with openings, because I'll feel bad if our games are always full and our backups have nowhere to go...

Sounds good - my goal is pretty much to start hell baal runs and once I'm a good level I'll do some MFing in my spare time to outfit a good uber-boss killer. Hopefully once we all get leveled and become tired of hell baals, we'll be able to do some mass norm/NM/hell rushes for one another so we can have a good mix of players once we start killing the ubers.

humm i should be able to make it by 9 but i might have to do some life crap that might interfere b-days and such but ill have d2 up all day till i leave on the account fuzzy_kitty so we can talk or whatever,

im deff going zeal /smite ive spent all day doing calculations on lower lvl stuff and some endgame gear and what affects what, its been a long time so im refreshing myself, and tommarow im gonna do min str and dex counts for my endgame gear and find whats gonna be the best area of point spreading stuff liek that, but its relly up in the air with final stuff so i might just wait and splerge a few more points into the stats i need so i can use whatever we may find , then after i get my endgame gear i could make a final pally only using the stats i need ect... welp im rambling ttyl
