Pure dex ww opinions

alright pure dex, soemthign i've never done before

weapon: ffk
shield: lance guard (fhr, DS, life) needs 380 dex for max block at lvl 90, i think i can manage that (shael)
armor: shaft
belt: dungoes
gloves: dracs >< open wounds
boots: gores
bling: highlords, 2x ravens/angelic
helm: jalas

so with that setup, can you guys help me think of different options to get more str in w/o losing 100% OW/DS 45% dr and all teh otehr nice stats?

i was thinking about putting a pamythyst in teh shaft/jalas

PRuby > PAmethyst (38 vs 20 life). Could try ed/str jewels too.

Str for gear, rest in dex. Might want to try War Travs for the stats and +dmg since you will have a big +%dmg multiplier and you already have a LOT of DS.

IMO replace shaft with enigma bp/lp and jalals with ber ber CoA.
Apart from that, dont think ffk is a very good weapon at all, look for a cfkq or a nice rare fanged.
Also, IMO phoenix>lance guard.

i realise you have 100% DS already but then you could use a SS and have max PDR.

Replacing shaft with enigma would be rather pointless, since he will need a MASSIVE amount of strength to wear a CoA. Much more stats in str if he chooses that route, and he loses out on quite a bit of other things as well...

Not everyone has a Phoenix. Although his damage will be better with a Phoenix, his blockrate will be horrendous. Since fury is interruptible, he may want to stick with his shael'd lance guard.

fury fanged knife is awesome and why would i waste str on a ber ber coa and use all this new age crap when the old fashioned way works perfectly well :P
you give me a phoenix and a nice rare fanged on west sc nl and ill use it

yeah i thought about pruby > +10 str, better just to pump str

im using lance guard becasue it's a nifty underrated/underused shield and want to try it out

Hey Tor. I did the dex build back in 1.09, and things might have changed however - i considered lanceguard aswell back then, but the blockspeed put a damper on that. But i know that that has changed..

FFK however, doesnt seem like that great of a weapon, are u sure cfkq wouldnt be better?

ANyway my conclusion back then, was that it was better than gris caddy (which is now much better) but weaker than cmsq/ccsq, which are both inferior to 1.10 gris caddy.

Well maybe with the new blocking fury/lance can work nicely. Let me know how it went..
