View Full Version : What to go with a cfkoq or ffk pvp WW?

I remember when I played and used loved's ( zim ) cfkoq that Jim bought for me people were saying how I should have made a dex build while I was making a titan build because others were saying there was no difference between the two. I'm planning on returning to D2 because of this new patch and I've quit WoW so I'm curious as to what to do.
I will either use a grizz caddy or ffk until I can get one of the godlies like a cfkoq again or ccsoq or something of the sort so I'm curious as to whether go a Dex or Str build or just infact a normal build.

Looking forward to yet again getting info from you guys on here ; )

I would use a caddy ... and a mixed build. Some of the top duelers use caddy.

although not being active anymore, i might have a few things to say

Now that leech barely works, life is better than dmg in most cases, as the raw bonus% is higher when placed in vit (especially if u have alot %ed already)

But daggers only receive 75% bonus from str and dex, so that means u get dmg from both the points spent in str for your armor/shield, but also dex for max blocking - going higher than that isnt a good idea, as the 150% advantage is now only 75%. However, IF u were to make a titan with a dagger, do dex, as the dmg is the same, but u get AR aswell.

Better go vit. And the 1.10 caddy>cfkoq.

If your referring to the elusive, Ethereal crystals(upped to phase) with 350ed, fools mod, 40 ias and 2 socks - then good luck. :uhhuh:

haha yeah. Death no one in the grove but Myth has a rare phase, but his isn't a 4 framer.

Like they all said, Caddy is the way to go. A mix build is the best, aim for 3k dmg, 14k+ ar and 5.5k+ life and you should be fine.

oh no no no I didnt mean rare as in a YELLOW rare, I meant like a cfkoq, cmsoq, ect.. ect.. because they are pretty damn rare to find someone with or to just find one nowadays.

I remember when I ID'd a cruel phase blade of quickness... I forgot who has it now..

My WW druid (fortitude build, 7.5k life)) uses Grief pb and beats caddy users everytime. He does beat caddy users even going with shaft+Etomby, belive it or not.
