which of these three combo's works best all round? I know that 1 weap and shield if good for baba duels but i want to do massive damage so which of the dual weapon wield options is better?

Depends PvP or PvM. For melee (actually almost all my builds), I go max block b/c blocking melee attacks 3/4 is better imo.

BotD/Beast for BvC

BotD/Shield for BvB

BotD/BotD is nice for PvM, though I'd still probably just do BotD/Shield in that instance.

But if on ladder, Grief + Beast > any of those dualwield options and grief/shield has better average dmg then ebotd/shield.

given that grief hits 34+ ias.

Botd+beast is easily the best "massive damage"-combo, both for pvp and pvm. It has about the same avg damage as botd+botd (which is around twice the damage of botd+shield I might add), but beast adds ar, open wounds (nice in pvp) and crushing blow (really nice in pvm). Gogo botd+beast. You dont really need a shield in pvm anyway since you're pretty much immortal save for iron maiden.

Grief / Beast Beserker Axes is by far the best combo out of all the Ebotd setups mentioned.

A little OT but when I thought the 1.11 patch was coming out I quickly used my last Lo rune to make a Grief Zerker.


398 dmg / 38 ias :D This is almost perfect for my barb.... better than the 378 dmg / 34 ias that I had before.

Nah that will always stay with my V/T although I love my BvA barb my V/T pallys will always be my first love. :D

Also it's not perfect it's 400/39 but good enough LOL

OMG then you cant use bloodfists alone. Useless ^^

Btw, do you have better ping than Fusa? Since it's a bit hard to appriciate a barb with 300 ping haha...

Ye, then you just need a 3 GHZ computer with 1 GB ram and fast-as-hell harddrive to run diablo painfully...

Nice gloves. Might I ask what jewelry you use? Also, why do you prefer those gloves over draculs?

Perfect maras,bulkathos, and raven.

The reason I use the gloves is because I use a Grief Beserker axe and to get the fastest smite frame I need the gloves for that to happen. I could you use highlords but I prefer maras.

there is another dual wep combo that works very well botd-death :im usin swords and its very good.
i can kill Baal by myself pretty easy and my build is pvp.before i got death i was usin 2 botd but i had to fight Ball for like 3-4 mins before i killed him

Death is crap in pvp; crushing blow isn't especially useful and it doesn't meet the -34 ww bp. I can see it's usefulness in pvm though...
