Looking to add group of 'friends' or join group for the new ladder, when ever that is..... West SC.
I will be starting the, oh so original, Blizzard Sorc.
Not looking to top ladder but maybe be on it for a time. Mostly wanting to enjoy the new patch and explore new builds, if there are any.
Looking for forum members with higher post counts or better gaming experience if you are new here.
I have two computers and will have rather a lot of free time during the day 8-2 Pacific time and some evenings 9-11

I'll do a Frenzy barb although I wouldn't expect a ladder reset soon. In the meantime, we could work together gathering keys and trying to get one of those uber charms. Then when the ladder resets we'll have a group together.

I've been playing D2 off and on since 1.08 or whenever that lovely bug that made poison add up incorrectly occurred.
I've played mostly solo or with one friend at a time, all of whom have since matured beyond me apparently and gone :). A clan-that-isn't-a-clan sounds interesting at this point, and something I'd like to try using new builds. I'm thinking fishymancer at first, but if anyone is wary of lagging I'd be happy to try a smiter or concentration barb instead.
I like to mf-solo (while listening to books-on-tape :thumbsup: ), so I'm not that concerned about any group drops. Although uh can I call dibs on the first 5 socket bec de corbin that drops? You can have the next :D.
My bad points are that I drink more Coke than is good for me (that translates into short 'afk's for one reason or the other :rolleyes: ) and even I think I use emoticons too much.
I plan to use mostly *lascaladue or *kimota.

Solo MF is good. If people want to do group MF runs I have always found that alternate drops work. You play until first person says "My Drop" then go until second person sees something they want. The stuff that drops in between the "good" drops can be split up.

A little about myself
I've been playing Diablo II Classic & LoD since the .09 days, about 3+ years. My favourite characters are the sorceress, followed by paladin and amazon. I have a fair bit of DII experience but could use more from you guys! I enjoy team games and co-operation. My favourite pastime is to visit D2 forums for more D2 knowledge. I usualy play early mornings before i go to work ( like 4:30 am mountain ) or most of the day on days off. Adding everyone. My account *russka2 has been created but the account *russka3 has not.
This is just a loose group of friends so we can look for each other and post back here as the season progresses. For greneral games I will be making forum1//1, forum2//2 and so on. This way you can always find the pass to a game. These games are just for general play and are not secure as anyone reading this thread can see. If anyone offends you just delete them from friends list.
Later in the season I will try and make an enchantress, if anyone wants to donate gear, let me know. I have two computers and will, at that time, host enchant experience games; Tomb leveling and cow leveling and experience rushing where we play through the game in normal (maybe NM if I can get the Sorc powerful enough) but be given the waypoints as we go.

I've been playin 3 years. My favorite builds are Frenzy barb, CL/FO sorc, and fire sorc. I look forward to the new season and hope that blizz can keep it clean of map-hacks and dupes. If they can do that, I look forward to some team-play and lots of questing and killing everything instead of just running baal.
After the season has progressed for a while and we get some better items, I hope to be playing with a group of players that can work together and finish of the Big Trio for the torch charm. ( tried once but couldn't do it solo).
I'm going to delete most of my crap, only keeping 1 or 2 of my best season2 builds. I work long hours on monday and tuesday this week but plan on playing lot of Diablo starting wednesday.

I've been playing this game since 1.08 though I've tried to quit several times (my record is half a year without d2 :lol: ). My first char was a barb but my favorite char is the paladin. Each ladder I set out with the goal to try new chars but somehow I always end up with 3 paladins and one other random char :D . This time I'm going to be starting out with a summoner.
Hello, I am new to this site, but I have been playing D2 SP since it came out and on b.net since 1.09, took a breather after teh first season ended in 1.1 and am coming back due to 1.11. Hey guys, if you have any "room" left, I'd like to come along for the ride :) Got addicted in the olden days of pre-1.09 and played for a good...7-8 months of that year, then moved on to college, and now I come back for a couple of weeks to...1.11! haha, how exciting. There were some of us on last night.
For my self I was able to get Ranked on the ladder as I managed to reach lvl 61 before common sense clicked in and I went to bed. Actually I am still "ranked" today, at about 460 and dropping fast. I may not even play much today.
We can also meet in channel fourm1 though there may not be anyone there most of the time.
Just type /f list to see who is on line but then you all know that.

I'm also an old player returning after a long absence. I came to check out the "final" version, and then they released a new one. I'm excited about the ladder reset.
I've already started a CL/Orb sorc, probably the first of many chars. My acct name is *lanimilbus. Always looking for good people to play with.

My news.
For myself, I was able to get on the ladder again today. I wasn't on when I first started this morning but was up to a high of #232 overall by midday. It is probably my last day on the ladder as it just isn't that important to me (read I am just not that good of a player) Best finds so far, Magefist in a Baal run, Gaze from NM Mephy and Um rune from NM forge. Made Rhyme and Stealth runewords.
I wonder if we could get together and do some Hell Baal runs this week?

Found 4 socket Monarch which I made into Spirit

Paid Um (ouch) for WizardSpike and socketed it with 12% all resist jewel giving me maximum resist in hell.
Starting Hell Mephy runs with 60 MF .. oh well.
Speaking for myself, I found it hard to level my smiter (he's currently 43 and just entering NM if anyone else is thereabouts), so I focused on solo-mfing with a lightning sorc for most of the past week. On the bright side, she's now doing the Hell Countess-Summoner-Meph circuit and starting to pay off :thumbsup: .

just wondering if any of yall could hook me up with some sorc gear got my blizz sorc up to lvl 60 and have been mfing andy and meph in nm but all i have been able to get is a uniqu kris and a venom ward and i am ashamed to say i wear them..lol nice 250 defence overall man how my luck has changed since the new patch

just wondering if anyone one is up to team mfing right know i have only been doing nm meph just about start hell meph. just have to to trav quest. been having trouple leaving nm meph couse he has been so kind to me. just need armor and i have full tal set right know i am a lvl 74 blizz sorc found some cold skillers off him a buntch of mf scs and a gull dagger. so just pm if your up to it

I'm level 85 but have very poor gear and can't survive Hell Meph just yet, getting there is the problem. Going to do a bunch of NM until I can get better gear.

lol..found i had the same problem just need armor using spirtshroud for the 1 to all skills but its the best i have been able to find nm meph is droping everything els but if u want we can mf together drops more thing the more in the game i usually go your drop my drop your drop and so on
My first-ever smiter is currently level 69, in Act2 Hell, and looking forward to our eventual UberTristram runs :thumbsup: .

I will try and struggle with you on your way to Act 5 if you want, Level 85 sorc but "One Tree" cold so not a very effective rusher.
Oi, hope I'm not too late. Finally filtered through my mules and deleted all useless characters except for my zealot, starting ladder a wee late with a Blizzard mfer, post count is low, but experience is very deep. (I come from the end of .08/Beginning of .09 days, Occy Rings <3) Anyways, my Buddy Devin didn't show and my old group is well. . . stranded in the hopeless nL.
I don't need anything itemwise but rushes 'n cows are greatly appreciated.

If it's not a problem, I'd like to play with you guys. I recently (last week) restarted for the v1.11 ladder. I'm actually doing well. I have an 88 blizz sorc and (thanks to the moat trick) began hell meph runs (I did NM meph before just to get base gear). So far I've found a grip of nice items (Occy, Lidless, Reaper's Toll, Gaze, HoZ, etc...) and if anyone needs anything I find that I don't need, I'd be more than happy to give hook ups. Plus it's nice to have a group to Baal with when other games suck, and people to help with xferring. :)
Just message me up, I'm on a lot lately (mostly early evening to early morning).

I'm not up to Hell Baaling yet, but I'd be happy to help you transfer whenever I'm online. I've got 2 copies of D2 on my PC but my Multiple Personality Disorder hasn't progressed to the point that I can actually play both at the same time so it'd be no trouble to leave my second account just sitting in a game for as long as you'd like :) .

Well just joined onto the forums, though I've watched em for a little while. I just actually got into D2 after spending a long time with wc3. It would be sweet to help out some other people, maybe let my grizzly take a pummeling for you or such. Give out some of the stuff I don't need, since I seem to just lure in necro stuff especially things that improve cursing (probably a sign or something). But anyways it'd be sweet to play wit you guys.

I'd like to play some games with you guys as well. I played DII from a little after it came out to a little before 1.10 and am just starting again. Been playing for the last week, have an 89 hammerdin, 46 fury barb, and am starting a throwing barb. I don't need items or anything, have my hoz/shako/wiz spike, will soon have enough for enigma and the rest will be easy after that. I can help out with stuff though, my mf runs produce a lot of stuff that is just good for trading for pgems, and I hate trading. Account name is *Khrome if anyone wants to do some lvling or something.

I have a level 86 blizz sorc just for Hell mephy runs, still very weak as to gear.
A lvl 75 LF zon, will be for cows when done.
My Smiter is only level 25 and I have not found any gear for it yet to get it higher.

Right now I've got three characters all between lvls 77 and 79.
First I've got my fire sorceress (lvl 77) who mostly does cows and meph runs and stuff like that.
Second I've got a lvl 79 Hunter druid who kills stuff pretty slowly but doesn't get killed by anything but souls pretty much.
Last is my lvl 79 avenger. He's doing okay, but he has a very large problem with resistences (hell all my people do).
Haven't found any useful uniques in a while, but I did come about a 39% ED jewel about an hour ago. That was pretty nice.

I'm on most evenings doing MF runs or leveling up other chars just for fun/forge drops. I have an 86 zeal/smiter if anyone needs help on the Ubers. I've solo'd them twice now (currently have a druid torch on him). I also use an 83 sorc for MF'ing (altho I'm making a new one meteorb this time).
Be glad to help people out. Would be nice to have other decent players to play with... solo games get pretty boring.

Smiter is lvl 73 (too weak to run hell)
Pit zon is lvl 75 (too weak to run pits)
All are gear poor so hard to level.

Hi all, I've been playing d2 on and off since 1.08 but mostly in single player. I am actually in EST (GMT-5) so I will probably be on when some folks on the west coast are blowing off class in the afternoon.
I am still trying to find a bowazon build that can actually kill something in an 8 player game. Any ideas, please let me know.
Outside of that, message me when anyone from the team's online. I would appreciate the experience.
