Looking at the two existing BvC guides, I see one recommends 40 base str and the other 64 base str. However, going with even the 64 base str build it seems insufficient to use a CoA when not having Beast equipped. Since many advocate the use of dual Doom Zerkers on switch, being able to use CoA without the str from Beast seems like a necessity.

Added all up that is 168 str, just 6 str short of CoA's 174 str requirement. The only other place to get str seems to be from some nice rare boots, but again both guides mention using Gores sometimes which would imply that you should have enough str to use CoA with Gores on.
