My Fury Druid By:Me :)
now i understand its hard to make ebotdz and all of this so i have come up with a not so hard way to get good results this is for the mildly rich so poor people keep your eyes closed :p
Now for the gear
Helm:Umed Jalals obviously um is needed if u want resist
Armor:Arkaine Valor 2+skill also gives good to vit if ur at a high lvl
Rings:Raven,Dwarf unless u can afford a c grip than be my quest
Amulet:Highlords not only is it IAS but 1+skill 2 not to mention the light resist
Belt:Verdungos not to expensive
Weapon:Shaeled Baranars Star because like i said some cant afford botdz if u have any other suggestions as to a better weapon with not to high cost please reply
Shield:Umed StormShield deffinatly needed
Boots:Uped gore Riders yes this is non ladder dont ask how..
Gloves:Hellmouth IAS
Skills:
Werewolf:20
Lyncanthropy:20
Heart Of The Wolverine:20 u can go either way with this oak sage or hotw
fury:20
whirlwing armor:10
tell me what u think of it,my first fury druid huh not bad?
is this pvp or pvm
ok you dont need upd gore riders th + 20 def wont do much
lose the hellmouths
your shael bstar is at 9/5 fury so outside ias wont do anything, get like bloodfists, + life, + fhr + good stats
arkaies valor, the + vit isnt multiplied by lycanthropy or oak sage life bonuses so it isnt all that useful, but since you probably cant afford better armor, use it its just mediocre
I Would swap out the highlord ammy and the dwarf star for Angelic ammy and ring, you get the monster Ar bonus wich of course lets you hit a hell of a lot more and you get the extra life and dex.
highlords= double damage if you dotn need teh ar

i prefer a 2dru/30run circlet if its for pvp, simply because no run=dead druid~~ but yep, if you cant afford enigma and botd, the circlet is going to be a pair too ;)
armor: assuming this is pvm, i dont see why ark is a bad choice if you cannot afford enigma. however, i'd prefer shaftstop since 1hand is so crappy pvm(no damage)
gloves: bloodfist or draculs, assuming steelrends are too expensive(they're too highly rated, i prefer drac/bloodfist)
belt: verdugos pvp, thundergods or string pvm(15 magic damage reduction/15dr/8leech=king ;p
boots: if you can afford upgraded gores and you have the str for it, why not? ;)
even in pvp its handy since strbugged runwalk=massive desynch
weapon/shield, assuming its pvm, why not a 2hander? tombreaver/bonehew/upped athenas/IK maul/(a bonesnap uppedx2) wrath come to mind.
else baranar/storm(um) is a fine choice imo.
about skill setup, i'd rather have 1 point in ravens/spiritwolves if its pvp, or 1 point in summon grizzly if its pvm, since cyclone armor sucks(IMO) without points into synergies
Maybe instead of a Baranars Star you could use a shaeled "Death Cleaver" it does good in both pvp and pvm (cept phys immunes of course). The deadly strike it has more then makes up for its puny lookin damage + you have on the highlord wich means you will almost always do double damage. I also always scimp my res and use shael in the ss and jalal for the extra Fhr and faster sheild recovery.

The best I have done with a pvm werewolf with cheap items are these.
Helm: jalas shealed.
armor: dark adherent (disciple full set) shealed
beit: credendum (disciple full set)
Boots: rite of passage (disciple full set)
gloves: laying of hands (disciple full set)
amulet: telling of beads (disciple full set)
ring1: manahealed I really want a rare duel leech ring.
ring2: carrionwind or ravenfrost
sheild: spirit ward uni sheild
weapon: don't really know i started out with a eth oath crytic sword, then moved to a grief phase blade. I need a good weapon that I could get for p gems thats 1 handed.
The pos to this set is simple next to max resist in each element in a hell game, when the wolf gets faded its actly maxed well over in fact, 3 to all skills + 2 to all druid skills +2 to shapeshifting skills = 7 to shapshifing skills and 5 to all the other skills, and 40 to str 10 to dex. You really dont need a life leech ring because of feral rage gives enuff. But it is nice to have a fall back when your having trouble getting it maxed. When doing p v p. I would say use diffent items then this.
I have been able to get all of these items for p gems, but the weapon. That is a subject I would like to talk about. What weapon would be good enuff to use in p v m that is worth p gems?
I see deaths cleaver doing alot better then b star. Basicly because when you have a eth deaths cleaver zodded you have a weapon that actly does more damage then a ebotd zerker! Second if its not eth you could sheal it to get the same attack speed of a ebotd zerker. Not only that but when your doing pvm you only need 2 diffent ways to deal with phy immues.
1. Use a item that has chance to cast amp damage. I will not say charges to amp because I don't see people wanting to change forms to cast it. Dcleaver + atmas scarb.
2. A large amount of elemental damage. Thats what bstar has over dcleaver.
Charm wise you want plus to life, ar, plus to skills, and hit recovery. Enuff hit recovery to get the 3rd break point 86% I think.
I only see your set up of items doing well in p v p when fighting other poor and new players. I am not saying that to be mean but dude think about it. You even said it your self. Also there is nothing wrong with loosing every now and then any ways. Try the items out that I said you will find it is alot better.

It all comes down to deadly strike. Some thing ebotd doesnt have. Even the ebotd 30 str doesn't even match up. Even if you use alot of deadly stirke gear wile using a ebotd. You still don't do at avarge amounts per hit as much as you would with d cleaver. That is a old debate and with an old debate the second it was debated it doesn't need to be debated again. click me (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=249453)
Ya ya its for barbs and ya we are talking about werewolfs. SO what same matters apply to werewolfs the only diffence is ias needed. Also ias from items that are not weapons don't matter. They do effect your attacks speed but not enuff to matter.
Also just so you know greif is now the big daddy of weapons. So say I can't afford a greif not I can't afford a ebotd. It also only needs 1 High rune compaired to the 2 high runes of a ebotd. But even with that said with 2 handed weapons there are alot of good weapons that beat ebotd and/or are just as good.
Still lets get back to subject plz.
I want to know about which 1 handed weapon that is worth p gems, is preatty good in p v m?
