being untwinked, it all depends if you can find what you need, particularly in commiting to a specific mastery

It is possible, although I'd say barbs are the hardest class to go untwinked with due to mastery commitments. But I'm definatly not gonna sit here and say no, it all depends on your luck at finding things, and your skill with ww barbs.
