BvC Barb Skill Allocation Q.

So I have maxed Axe Mastery + WW + BO.

Iron Skin + Increased Stamina + Increased Speed + Natural Resi have been put 1 point in, and currently all at lvl 6.

1 in all Combat except Double Throw / Swing + Frenzy. Berserk + etc. are all at lvl 7.

All prereq to BO / BC has 1 point in each, and now at lvl 5.

Should I max Shout or Natural Resistance? People have suggested that I max it till I get diminishing returns, but it already has diminished at lvl 6... :( From now on till couple more skills, its 1 skill = 2 more resi... is this worth it? I mean if I pump Shout from now, I can max it and get 200% Defense. (20 unused skill points at lvl 82).

Why the hell do people keep telling me to max Leap? I already have tele... Leap vs. Tele? What is the advantage of Leap that Tele does not... the knockback? Tele transports you much much faster to the desired place than Leap... a Leap would be equivalant of -10 frame tele...

leap is used to stun casters ( I've maxed it)

EDIT: If you say it's bvc, why would you max shout?
for longer bo duration, or extra ed fo zerk?
put 5-6 points into increased speed, 7-9 into n.resi and the rest in leap, or just max leap, and spend the rest between inc.speed/ nat.resi

I will customize it so I'll try to break the next FRW bp with couple into Increased Speed.

How will I be able to Leap succesfully on people? With only 11frame Tele (Arachnid) I still have a hard time landing right on top of people + WWing through right away before they tele away. :(

Dennis, leap is used to stun casters. When you land on a leap, it stuns [double fhr animation] and knocks back all hostiles in a radius. Once you get it to a high enough lvl [mentioned in the video thread], it can cover the entire screen and even more, useful for interrupting caster's teleing to get a chance to tele+ww onto them.
Leap will greatly help your tele+ww.

What Jerion said. Short leaps to get them into the stun animation, then tele and whirl while they can't do anything. That's why BvC goes Leap instead of shout.

But why would the casters stay in place after I've leaped on them couple times? I mean they have plenty of time to move out while I'm soaring through the clouds don't they? Especially if I'm leaping from far away.

Voila, homemade explanation ! You shift+leap, and with the huge stunradius leap has at higher lvls, the sorc will be put in DOUBLE fhr, then you tele+whirl.

Get the skill leap to level 19. Then when you leap in place = leap very very very short distance, then EVERYTHING you see on your screen that you can attack, should be put in a two times hit recovery animation. This is of course when you land. Now you're on the ground in the middle of the screen while some sorc you're dueling maybe is at some corner or something in hit recovery animation. Then you can easily tele on top of her and make DoD.

I think you're thinking about long leaps for some reason, only use short leaps, you don't have to leap on top of the opponent, just get the skill to level 19 and no matter where you're as long you're both on the same screen leap should "stun" the opponent. No matter of the distance. :)

I think Dennis is confused as to what you guys are saying.

No one expects you to try to actually leap ONTOP of an opponent. Leap is not used to move, it is not a replacement for charge or teleport. Instead, you leap in place. You are only leaping literally a step or two infront of where your barb currently is, as if he was just hopping two inches infront of himself. If you are clicking leap any further than that, you will be jumping through the air as you mentioned while your opponent teles away. When you do a short jump, you will knockback everything in a screen sized radius around where you landed, which should be right next to where your barb was. This means everything onscreen will be knocked back and stunned, making namelock+tele+ww easier.

If you haven't watched mcm's dueling videos, do it now. Everything will be made perfectly clear. If you are still arguing as to the effectiveness or why you would use leap, you haven't actually watched the videos.

Non leaping barbs get owned by 200%fcr sorcs easily. It will be extremely hard getting namelock tele on them.
