View Full Version : ebotd gpa vs grief/beast
I enjoy BvC barbs and I was wondering if the extra range and considerable damage of a great poleaxe would override the supreme damage and 1.5x hitting speed of grief/beast? Would an ebotd gpa BvC be a viable build?
Grief/beast or botd/beast is still superior. More hit chances, more ar, and a lot of damage from the aura.

i can see a botd gpa being used, but only if you are too poor to afford 2 weps
and if your not that rich, i wouldnt recomend making a bvc
if you have not mastered dueling vs smiters, you might want to have a gpa botd
The duel wield option is definitely better but GPA is by no means a bad choice, tryed it before and it worked out nicely, just not as good as grief/beast

Can someone tell me what is the BEST weapon(s) for a PvM, WhirlWind barb with:
Arreats
Mara's
CoH
Dracul's
Arach's
Gore Rider's
BK x 2
9x WC GC
Gheeds
Anni
I made one using Eth BotD GPA, but now I hear people saying Grief/Beast. Someone please explain to me what the difference is. I look at the 2 and compare them and it looks to me like it's no contest. Terrible damage compared to GPA, unless I'm missing something.

it may be that you didnt realize grief doesnt show the actualy dmg
what your missing is more than 2x hits, someone check me on that, with a gpa, more hits and more ar=more dmg
beast also has cb, and grief has ds
gpa may look better but has a dmg of 300-1000 (roughly) which is 650 average dmg, and im not sure if it his 4fpa
im tempted to say a botdz and beast, or 2 botdz because of the huge life and mana steal, as well as hitting 2 fpa
