SOme questions bout BvC Barb

Hi there,
registered today into this forum and greeting everybdy here.
I have some quests bout a BvC build.
ATM my barb is lvl 77 with base str/dex in NL, Europe.
From enigma and draculs he will be able to wear all the other stuff needed, so why is mcm advicing ti higher str and dex ?
Is there a danger of poping if i die ?
maybe You could explain me the need for putting points into str and dex.

I put 81 base str just to be able to swap particular pieces of my equipment.
I need that just to use CoA +angelics+ dual doom ba's for example.
On my previous barb I couldnt use it, because I needed the str from Beast or Arreats -.-

2. Enigma BP
3. Draculs
4. Goreriders
5. 25 str. belt
6. BotD BA
7. Beast BA
8. Highlords
9. Raven
10. 5% AR, 13-AR, reisis rare ring

i have base str, dex and ene; only highered life at lvl 77.

Will it be alright to rise only life (for the m8s from pre-LOD: gonna make a pi-baba at last)to get the str. from enigma at higher lvl ? Or should I add more points in str and dex ?

Maybe some of the gosu players could gimme some advice.

if the only pieces of equipment you swap are CoA and Arreats, and you already have enough str to use CoA, then go all vita.

mcm's barb is kinda like batman, in that he's got all sorts of gadgets he can use to try to beat you, so he was going for extensive versatility. Certain gear could cause problems such as:

Arreats
Angelic ammy&rings
Nigma
Grief/Beast
Dungos
Gores
Dracs
20 anni
all on a level 85 barb


30 base+63 nigma+15dracs+20 anni=128 strength, +20 arreats=148, so no problem on beast grief, right?

But what if you're wearing COA instead of arreats? Now you can't pick up your axes. Hence the blobguide recommendation of about 40 to str.

Also, a HEL widowmaker still requires fairly high dex (I think like 114). So, 20 base dex+40 from ravens+20 from arreats+20 from anni=only 100. If you put on IK gloves, you can use it, but what if you die? You needed the dracs to get your strength high enough to put on arreats, which is what let you equip IK gloves in the first place, so now you can't recover all of your equipment from your body.

Basically, his build allows for a lot of versatility on equipment changes, without having to worry about equipment/str issues. You, and he, has gear that could prevent this, but if you absentmindedly take off a low str req belt that gives str (and which allowed you to equip everything), you could have some hassles recovering your bod.

If he's using ebotd (30stats) and 25str belt, he's there already when it comes to str, right?
If he plans on using grief, then a larger str investment is needed.
