Amplify Damage = -100% physical resistance. However with PIs who have 100% or higher physical resistance amplify damage works @ 20% Hence for a 100% physical resistance monster amp reduces it to 80% and for 120% physical resistance these are termed 'unbreakable' PIs i.e amplify damage could not break their physical immunity. Very few monsters have these stats like a PI with Stoneskin mod for example. For everthing else though this curse rocks :D
Works very well even with something like volcano since it is fire nad physical.

it might be better to get a reapers for decrep, as that is -50 to physical res
and it cast like 6 or 7x as much a a rare with amp

Depends on how fast your rare weapon is I guess. Someone should calculate which would give the best return, I am to lazy....

well, reapers triggers 6 or 7x as much as a rare
and is onyl half as effective as amp, so youd have to get something that attacks about 3x as fast to get the same returns
i dont think thats possible...but that would be sweet to have a super fast attacking merc with amp, i think ill try that
