Havent played conc but have an wwI Kbarb that easily solo hell. I think its possible with concbarb too but I'm too lazy and don't like to have to click on every single enemy :)

Concentrate will survive a helluva lot better, just because of the nature of the build. It will also run on lower-end gear. On the other hand, it generally kills a lot slower, since you only attack one enemy at a time, one swing at a time.

So, you have to decide which means more to you. All and all, Whirl is the superior build, especially if you intend to do any PvPing.

Both barbs will have pretty easy time in hell-with top end gear,but lower the gear quality,conc barbs tend to outperform ww barbs,since there are a set requirements gear needs to fulfill to perform well for ww,ias on weapon for example,there is a bit more freedom with conc barbs.

WW barbs will kill faster than concers with top end gear & both will not have any survivability problems.

i have a lvl 85 concentrator...works fine in hell...but is slow...not much crowd control....but mainly dueto the fact that i dont wanna shell out the runes for a nice weapon...so hes stuck with an azure atm....

i havent seen ww barbs...but they look allot easier to deal with crowds....easier=faster...

When messing with the conc build I decided to make just a basic IK barb. He has 20 to BO (which synergies Conc and is the center of every barb build), 20 mace mast, 20 shout, 20 conc, 1 in the 1 point wonders, and he has absolutely no problem in hell. The trick is I put 1 point in ww and I still do 6k for crowd control but the damage boost and increase to defense of conc is very nice. I have around 22k defense when I swing. It was a fun build and can solo hell and kill dclone easy but I still have to agree with Ash.............................

Edit: feel free to pump ww as opposed to bash (syngery) for more crowd control
