My eleventeenth "Hi, I'm back!"-thread

Hello fellow forumers,

Hi, I'm back!

I posted this in the OTF about a week ago, but now I am also going to post more often again in my "beloved" Community Forum as well. I see lots of new names here, so to the people who never heard of me: I have been playing Diablo II since its release on and off, and I have been a member of these forums since... 2001, I think. Might be 2002 too. In any case, quite long.

After the cheaters finally succeeded in chasing me away from the game for a while - my main character was TPPK'ed - I bought myself a copy of World of Warcraft and I am still thoroughly enjoying that. It was right about the same period these forums split up, and I moved to worldofwar.net. But now I picked up Diablo II again, albeit Single Player - I don't know if I will ever return to the realms again. I hardly ever traded anyway, and I was mostly playing in password protected games, so I wouldn't know what I have still left to do in Battlenet.

Anyway, it feels good to be back! ... Again..

Hmm, I can just remember two or three of your comebacks. Anyway, as long as you don't come back once per month, it's OK for me.

It seems each time you come back, your pal status improves by one. Perhaps the admins should introduce emerald, topaz, amethyst, sapphire, ruby and diamod pal status just for your next few comebacks :)

Dunno if you remember me but I definitely remember you because you where the guy who helped me out when I found an eth zaka 200 and I had no clue what to do with it.

Anyway, I was wondering for some time now what had happened to you cause I never saw you tar show up anymore (got to love Monty Python)

Glad to see your back.

If you ever want to star up again (softcore, pk-ing is not really a problem here) just let me know (you where playing on Europe I believe).

@D2addict: How could I forget you, n00bz0r? :p You were gone for quite a while as well, it's good to see that you're back as well.

@Bert: Yeah, I remember you. That entire thread about your shield went down the drain fast, if I can recall correctly, because there was someone who tried to take advantage of your newbie status and fellow forumers jumped right on that. Nice to see you have built yourself a "steady status" on these forums. :)
About starting up on the realms again, I have played HC exclusively for so long that I don't want to revert to SC again, even with the TPPK cheat. The thrill and challenge of HC is just so far greater - no killing a boss by running to your corpse 25 times until you finally got him, for instance (I always hated that).
But if I can find a group of people to play HC with in password protected games, I might return to Battlenet...
