AR question

with 2 ravens and a highlords my dex is at about 110 and my AR is about 5.3k, but with one angelic ring/ravenfrost and angelic ammy i have 9k AR. I have 414 Vitality and I have 40 skill points to use, should i put them in dex and wear 2 ravens and a highlords or put them in vitality and keep the setup of angelic's/raven?

does anyone know? i have 45 stat points and every other barb i see has like 2xx def and i have 115, and im using my ammy and ring slot for angelic and that gives me 9.6k, but without it im at 5.3k AR, should i pump dex or just keep using the angelic combo?

Dex is a horrible source for ar.
get some +ar charms or max/ar.

yeah i have some max/ar charms and some life/ar charms, so i should just keep putting stats into vitality and remain using the angelic combo?

whats your build?

you dont need block unless its a BVBer,so you dont need any dex at all if its a dualwielder BVC.For a BVBer,you'll need to hit max block sans ravens,since dual angelics are necessary to obtain a decent ar pool,you'll need it due to the high defense standards of BVB.

It's very doubtful you'll need more than the one angelic then to get decent AR, and I doubt you'd need even that. I put maybe 20pts into dex total (to have enough to pick up the beast/grief regardless of angelics/ravens/fcr rings w/o dex, and I've never had a problem hitting casters). Going against smiters, zealers, hammerdins, even some javazons (just so you can take them out VERY quickly, but with a pike your range could compensate), you'll need more AR, but dual angelics will either get you where you need to be, or use demon limb to enchant yourself, and throw in some AR charms if necessary. I doubt you'd need to do even this though.

I use dual axes and my dex with gear is probably 118 tops (39 base+19anni+20arreats+40 for ravensx2). With dual angelics and a couple of charms that add AR I'm usually around 16K AR with full angelics (ammy+2rings) and over 20K AR with chant. I almost never chant (in fact, I put my limb on my bvber) and can handle 30K def smiters, so I'd say more vita, forget the dex.

Attack rating isn't really required to hit. My barb uses fcr rings and highlords, and with enchant, he hits about 9k AR. It's perfectly enough to hit almost every character. Just pump your vitality.
