required ilvl of rainbow facet

while recently reading the rainbow facet thread, I now desire to make myself a merc that has a 3 facet helm ... I was just curious where I would have to run in order to get one. is it only and ilvl 87? and I have to run the pits, or can I continue moving through the game.

just love the idea of getting something for that 48k whenever my merc dies.

running the travincal yielded me the most, I am sure that the minumum mlvl of the monster is under 87, although I am unsure of what it is.

They have an ilvl of 87 or there abouts I think. Anyway, Meph is probably the easiest target to hit to get one.

The ilvl is 85 (or above, depending on the monster that drops it). However, the required level to use it is only 49! Hell Meph, Diablo, Pindle, Baal and Lister can all drop them. Obviously, any lvl85 area monster can also drop them. IIRC I got both of mine in the Masoleum.
