Hello. I wanted this thread to be all about various important BNet commands because I remember way back in 1.09 I couldn't add anyone to my friends list and couldn't whisper to someone who was whispering to me because I didn't know how... -.-

So here it goes.

The *signs must be typed right before the account, and there's always space after the end of my commands. So for example it would be /f m *dennis hey and not /f m *dennishey.

Adding a person to your FList - /f a *account

Showing your FList to see who is on, not on, and what game are your friends' are in - /f l

Msging to all your friends at the same time - /f m whateveryouwanttosay

Whispering to a specific person only - /w *account whateveryouwanttosay

Removing someone in your FList because he/she is being a retard - /f r *account

You're in a chat room, and someone that is NOT in your FList whispers you and you want to whisper back - /reply whateveryouwanttosay (this only works when you're in a chat channel, not a room)

Squelching someone while outside of your game, possibly because you just scammed someone a forge rush and they keep whispering to hack you or any of the sort - /ignore *account

Marking yourself away, so anyone that whispers to you will get a certain msg and unable to deliver the message to you - /away whateveryouwanttosay (if you type /away after you type the first message, that is how you stop yourself from being marked away)

BNet Help, highly unhelpful at most times and get you infuriated - /help

That's about it. I have missed some other important commands, and if you know them please post so other people can learn them too.

Yes. I'm pretty sure its /w *account @realm or something of the sort... I'll post it as soon as I find it.

when whispering someone while in a game at least, you have to type /w <character name> not account name. you can whisper their their account name by typing /w <account name>@<realm> I believe; I'm usually too lazy to do this if I don't know what character they're on and I just /f m and specify in my msg who I am talking to.

Squelching someone while outside of your game, possibly because you just scammed someone a forge rush and they keep whispering to hack you or any of the sort - /ignore *account

But you forgot the /stabinface *account command for the cheap, ungrateful maggots that bail or pick in a forge rush.

But, is there anything we can do about someone who adds you to their friendslist (but is not on your friendslist) and then ALWAYS talks to an individual by /f m ? I'm tired of squelching them.

i usually spam them (in game you can use the up arrow keys to repeat the last message) with:

/w *whatever TAKE ME OFF YOUR *insert rude obnoxious insult here* F LIST YOU *insert explicative in adjective form* *insert explicative in noun form*!!!

like 20 or 30 times. that usually works.

i tell them i'm going to kidnap their hamster. if they have a hamster, which is about 3% of the time, it usually works about 0.057%.

maybe RTB can tell me my exact chance of getting it to work.

maybe there is a better way to stop them using /f m?

Korean Math Whiz to the RESCUE!

0.03 * 0.057 = 0.00171%.

I don't get the numbers at all... Why is it so small? -.- if someone threatened to kidnap my Hamster, I'd immediately give them my account + pass + my life all cooked and prepared just for them... :(

Please don't send threatening PM's to me... I scare easy.

If I am not mistaken, if you wish to whisper a specific person on your friends list, rather than type out their whole name, you can do this:

/w %f1 hello there (where f1 is the position on your friends list, f2 would be the second person on your friends list, etc)

you can also promote and demote the position of your friends on the list.

/f p *accountname (this will move the person's position up one space, and thus move the person that was above them, into that person's old space)

/f d *accountname (this will move the person's position down one space, and move the person below them into that person's old space)

/options ignorewhispers (this will ignore any whispers from people NOT in your friends list... can be a pain when trying to trade, but this can be resolved with:)

/options unignorewhispers (self-explanatory)

Hope this helps!
