Where do you find the recipes...

...for the different runes? I've been playing a while and I here you people talking about the different stuff you make, but I've never found the book on how to make them. What's good? What runes make what? Do Runes work the same way that gems do in that if you keep transmuting them, they'll eventually get to the higher, more useful types? I know my IK set is basic and you can do better, but I don't know how with out some sort of guide. Any ideas on which way I should bounce?

I do at that, but it has noting to do with Metallica - LOL. I was a head banger back in the day and my friends always told me, you keep throwing yourself around like that, you're going to give yourself whiplash... it just stuck after a while. I of course adopted Metallica "Whiplash" as my personal theme song shortly there after though ;)

For the runes remember you start with Thul and use 3 until Pul and then it's TASRED all the way to the land of Zod.

diabloii.net and arreat summit both have their weak points as far as updating the item data but for the most part they are the best sources for cubing data. look under the recipes, crafts and runes sections on those webpages its easy to find and navigate through those two site so direct links shouldn't be needed.
