uswest pvp character giveaway

im gonna give out some pvp characters/pvp items for uswest softcore ladder the few upcoming days/a week or two, but first i want a competition to see who should get them, not just some random giveaway =P, can u guys help me think up of ideas of a competition?

#1 don't just post pass/acc because forums lurkers always gets it
#2 do a pick 1-1000 giveaway those always worked in the past
#3 pm the admin the winning # i suppose so its fair

The trading of accounts/characters isn't allowed. Giving them away is fine, since there have been countless giveaways with just account/pass posts.

You could always hold a tournament of sorts. If you want everyone to be able to participate regardless of wealth, iron man tournaments work nicely.

Also, distributing the contents of the chars seperately to allow more winners well... allows more winners, thus helping out the largest amount of people.

Other ideas used in the past have been guessing a number in a given range, brief paragraphs on why a user should get an item/char/account, quizzes on anything from D2 to a user's personal life, and of course the drop everything on the ground in a game idea. That last one is a really bad idea though, game gets full fast and usually it's leechers.

I'm East, so count me out. Unless I can win a decked out char so I don't have to work on them. :rolleyes:

Since it is a pvp giveaway, you could match up people in duels, and the winner gets the choice of 1 item your giving away. Repeat until everything is gone. It would leave you plenty of interresting options on how to match them up too. Matching up different builds of the same character (i.e bone nec vs poison nec). Melee vs Caster matchups, Caster vs Caster, Melee vs Melee, whatever. Or a bunch of 8 player last man standing free for alls.

problem with dueling is that ofcourse people have better access to items and people who are mostly into pvm and want to get into the pvp scene more wont have the best chars so i think a random 1-1000 pick would be good or a riddle would be great. You could also do a guess the dmg on this pvp char and if your close you win it. something like that.

1-1000 would be better then having a competition in dueling. other people will have better items then others therefore they will win. unless you want to do some sort of iron man like the others were saying and start from scratch and build up to lvl 9 and duel it out
