k, i'm looking for a zerker axe for my barb. it is listed as tc87 at d2data.net. mainly, i'm looking in the pits, and so far i've seen just about every tc87 drop there, from mythical swords to war pikes to hydra bows. however, i haven't even sniffed a zerker axe yet of any quality.

so, i'm looking at d2data.net, and they have a list of all the monsters and in which areas tc87 can drop. it's a pretty long list. however, none of the monsters that show up in the pits are listed.

should i just keep plugging away? or, should i change areas?

[edit] according to them, i'm better off killing the zombies next to pindleskin.

Berserker axes are indeed TC87 - apart from d2data.net, see here (http://www.diabloii.net/items/110tc.shtml). Regarding their drop chances, I guess I don't tell you anything new when suggesting to check it with ATMA yourself :p

d2data.net was done up before it was known that monsters in hell change their level (and subsequently their drops) based on what area they're in.

All the level 85 areas are listed here (http://strategy.diabloii.net/news.php?id=532&page=3#Appendix%20A:%20The%20Other%20Level%2085%20 Areas). A full list of all areas and their level has been posted recently, but i'm too lazy to find it.

If you can find other TC 87 base types somewhere, you can bet that you can find berzerker axes there. You've just been unlucky

If you have a Hammerdin try River of Flame. I find many Berserker axes there and it's not so hard to do with a din. Maybe WSK also but I hate souls :p.
