Hello,

I found a low quality +3 Mat bow in ladder, so i would like to get 4 sockets in it so its good for faith is that possible?. I know theres a cube recipe to make the item normal quality. However that sets the item lvl to 1 or so i believe, so what would happen if i used larzurk after that, or what would happen if i used the random socket recipe on that?, it doesnt say anything about item lvl in that recipe. Any help will be apreciated. Thank you.

Using that cube recipe will roll the +3 off. Ilvl 1 bows can't have it.

So its useless then?

Not useless, but certainly not useful. +3 skills aren't THAT important, so go search for another bow. You'll find one.

Well if the +3 skills aren't all the useful to begin with (and I totally agree with that, another 5-10% damage on strafe?), wouldn't rerolling it at ilvl 1 force Larzuk to give it four sockets?

Three sockets maximum.

An elemental bowazon would certainly appreciate 'Melody' in that bow. Good attack speed and +6 bow skills is not bad.

I meant to ask about a magical matriarchal bow that had +2 natural and received another +2 from the prefix Bowyer's for a total of +4. Upon upgrading to .10 it had +2, basically losing the natural bonuses as they're overridden by the prefix. The prismatic prefix doesn't override the natural all resist on auric shields, why do Amazon bonus prefixes override those on their class-specific weapons - because they're weapons?

It was probably the transition between versions that did this. Any amazon bow gets a "native" Bow skills bonus, from +1 to +3. A chance for +3 requires to bow to have an ilvl of 60+.

So an Archerīs amazon bow should be able to get +6 Bow skills. A rare can have +3 bow skills and +2 Amazon skills.

So it's still possible, but upgrading screwed my particular bow. I feel special.
