AA=AutoAim, an outside program, I think the program is actully called autohit? Anyways dont use it, if your a good dueler, you dont need it. It's cheap. It is also entirely beatable if someone else it using it. Dont use AA!

Think of them as the aimbots of Diablo II

Who'd have thought that Diablo II would turn into Counterstrike? I swear... this is the only game that you can take any noun and slap the word hack onto the end of it, and it's probably a cheat that someone's using. I swear I'm done playing this game as soon as there are headshot bots, wallhacks, and jumphacks.
aimbot in d2? well thats ***

1.09 dueling BM bowazons with AA, THAT was really, really lame.
I asked one of my old friends that dueled a lot back then and he said he only made a zon because "they were lame". (not sure if he used AA though)
I find it funny when I use hacks (counter-strike hacks) against the 1.5 bots :)

Anyone Know where this is found? I wanna see how it works not use it.
AA has been out for quite the long time now close to the begining of 1.10. I believe it's openly used by ppl on useast, on uswest it's frowned upon.

no, and you won't find out here. Read the forum rules for more info.

It is openly used by morons on useast. Only people that also openly use lvling bots and mh. In all pub/private duel games that I have come across, it is not acceptible. I personally  upon it. Dag-gnabbed aa people.

I can't seem to detect if ppl use AA in pubs or not.

Usually it is going to be a projectile dueler (bowzon, bone necro, fireball sorc, etc.) and one of aa's 'tells' is that one who uses aa can shoot you with their arrows (or whatever) from very far away. It would be like having perfect aim when your opponent not visible on your screen, purely from their position on the map. That is not the only way, but that's how I tell usually.

You should know that AA makes many characters better at dueling. Not that I approve of it or anything. I really hlps out windruids, some sorces, bonenecs, hammerdins.

It's fairly easy to spot. If someone is constantly teleporting on you or shooting directly at you from off the screen, it's a pretty good hint. Also for projectiles that home in, like BS or Guided Arrow, it's very easy to identify as all of the projectiles will be homing in on you as they enter your screen even though you have not been on the opponents screen for them to have name locked you.
Look at the start of the FuK pk video where I die to a barrage of bone spirits suddenly all targetting me from off screen. I try to tele away but they're too close and there's no chance. That's what an AA nec looks like.

I seem to see a lot of AA WW Sin. Suddenly teles in from no where, or it could be the Shadow Master. Hrm.

AA Blizz + FoHer + WW Barb + Bowazons + Windy Druid + Summoner Nec + etc. can be deadly with aa... lands Blizz + FoH from 3 screens away exactly on top of you... on top of that when a Summoner Nec or BvC Barb just teles onto you out of nowhere and starts cursing + WW'ing, you're dead... -.-

I love it when morons use this crappy hack - I just hide in a house in Act 1 and they accuse me of hacking when their projectiles can't hit me :uhhuh:
It just gets better when they use their maphack to figure out my position and ask why I'm standing out in the open :p They don't like houses

Just be careful of delayed namelock, it looks alot like AA but obviously isn't. Just something to take into account before you start yelling "AA more noob!"

Very true. My Summoner Nec + Windy Druid who both rely heavily on teleing right on top of their opponent as a part of their kill gets framed for AA'ing by delayed name lock tele atleast once a day I duel with them...
I do see coupld AA'ers here and there in NL West though...
