View Full Version : What do you guys think is the best looking armor?

I'm getting ready to make enigma for my libby. I value good equipment as much as the next guy, but I'm a little more conscious of aesthetics than most. I refuse to wear shako, for instance.

Since I ultimately plan on acquiring a CoA, I'm going to have fairly high strength on this build, so I could make enigma in just about any elite armor except for the top two or three.

It seems like every hammerdin/liberator and their mother uses archon plate for enigma, so I'd like to use something different. What armor types do you guys think looks particularly good on paladins? I'm rather fond of balrog skin myself, but I thought I'd get some more opinions.

I kind of like the style too so I made my Enigma into Wyrmhide :drool: (Wyrmhide looks just like Vipermagi for instance).

also, call me crazy but a levi in combination with a coa + myth sword really looks nice

Imo, archon plate is the best looking but if you want something else, wirefleece looks pretty kickass as well. After that probably boneweave/balrog skin.

I personally don't really like the Balrog Skin...I prefer Great Hauberks or Kraken Shells... A Shadow plate looks really nice too, but you said in your post that maybe you won't have the strenght required...

Wire Fleece and Archon Plate, personally. Boneweave works too, though that's getting up there in the strength req.

And good for you man. I'm glad I'm not the only one who will actually shun good equiment because it looks ugly.

This will give you at least some idea of what it will look like on your pally. The only real way to determine what looks best is to see for yourself.

Go Ornate plate hell yes one shoulder's got serious style.

i like bonweave, kraken or balrog skin, i'm not really a fan of archon or wire.

In order of sexiness:
Loricated Mail
Boneweave
Balrog Skin
Wire Fleece

Loricated is original and hot. I highly suggest it.

Well think its easier to mention the ugly armors: The ones where u can see the green pants! They're just not good enough

Armor that are nice imo

Dusk
Wyrmhide
Scarab husk
Archon
Wire
Kraken shell

If they all spawn with 15% ed then they are good for Fortitude, COH, Dragon, Enigma (not above archon though) :D

@Stoutwood - dont you have a Fortitude Loricated Mail???

Personally I like Balrog skin and Dusk shroud look.

Mage/Archon/Light is horrid, at least IMO...
