Naj HellForge Plate vs Skin of ViperMagi

I was told to use vipermagi for my hammerdin pally, for the +skills and resistences, well the naj hellforge plate that i found has +skills, alot more defense, more resistences, %45 dmg goe to mana, and +65 life but no FCR, which is better?

viper is my personal choice of those, viper has fcr skills and res all u need : )

Agree, if its a good viper it beats Najs armour. It also requiers something like 30str less than Najs and can be worn 30 lvls earlier or thereabout.
But, Najs is NOT a bad armour, I used it on my tesladin myself but for a hammerdin I'd go with viper.

Vipermagi is better for casters because of the FCR. Naj's might be more suited to particular melee builds, eg Avenger, Charged Striker, or Enchant/ES sorc, when you can't afford a CoH.

Magi kills Najs for a hammerdin. Fcr/skill/Res and uped can hit 1k def. But wouldnt you want a nigma? to tele?
