View Full Version : pitrunner pala
Is there a alot lightning immune in the pits or is it possible to do pitruns with a tesladin without to much problems? Of course I got some physical damage but if there's alot of lightning immunes there might be problems...

The Pit is certainly do-able with a lightning based char. I did it with my first javazon this ladder with some really crappy gear and it worked well in 2-3 player games.
Basically the only lightning immune monsters are Rogue archers, and they appear in packs of three. They do quite a lot of damage however, so you'll have to avoid them. This is particularly dangerous in the Pit level 2 where multiple boss packs usually appear, and if one of them consists of Rogue archers with Curse, it's going to get ugly. If you see those in lvl.2, get in, open golden chest, get out (of the game).
Javazon is at a slight advantage here obviously, with ranged attack and Valky, but should work with Pala also. Just don't expect stellar performance. Much better Pit runners exist.
wot kind of tesladin are you.. do you use holy freeze as a back up??
even if you dont the pits should be easy
pits are no problem for tesladins because the "crescent moon" runeword has the ignore targets defence mod.
No im pure lightning with some physical damage behind... And yes crescent moon got a big advantage with ITD but does that work 100% against bosses down there? I've always thought it's only superunique bosses that cant be itd:d but i might be wrong. Thanks for reply anyway

there are no "bosses" in the pit. ITD may not work with act bosses such as meph or diablo but it does work on uniques and superuniqes.
