I know there's lots of necro guides out there now, but im still not sure which PvP build to go for...
I play on Europe Non-Ladder, and i think i can afford just about any setup out there...
(I have eth botd cb 409% and other nice stuff to trade)
I already have HoTO 39%,
shako um,
Maras 26%,
Homm,
Trang gloves,
Arach,
Marrows.

All im really looking for is a PvP build thats good enough for me to stick with, as I have made so many PvP chars that have been owned that im getting quite frustrated...
I've made a WW barb, a Trapsin, a Bowazon, a Charger, a Poor FoHer, etc, all with no success.
Ive seen Dracoys' Napoleon Guide, and Soulesschild's bone necro (and all the others) but i still cand decide which one would be best...

Any comments would be accepted with thanks... ;)

Welcome Newcomer to The Darkness. Grab a brew :drink: and feel free to raise some corpses.

All of those can do well in PvP. The question is what kind of game play do you think will be the most enjoyable? Do you like using summons and luring your enemies into a trap? Or do you prefer having to do it all by yourself without minion protection?

Thx 4 the welcome
Well, i've made a pure summoner in the past- i used all the right equipment, but got put off straight away when i got pwned in 1 shot and had to raise my army again... i've never tried making a summon/bone hybird so i wasn't quite sure how successful it would be...
on the other hand, there are too many pure bone necros out there...
I was just wondering if there was anyone out there who has had the experience with both builds that was able to tell me whether one was better than the other...

I've played Zookeeper, Poison, and Bone in PvP.

Zookeeper requires setup and being the first outside. Essentially you're controlling the situation by Decrepping the guy, and having your skeles mob him. Run a Iron or Blood Golem... I never liked Fire. You can also get BSpirit w/ Marrowwalk bug... just to annoy him more? Another tactic is to wall a hapless guy inside a Bone Wall/Prison, and teleport in with all your skele buddies (Party time!). Of course, this class doesn't fight other teleporting pricks as well. I think this class is a bad PvP class, but makes a hella funny class to win with.

Poison. Blech. It CAN PvP, and quite well, as a lvl 40 Poison Nova can kill almost anything... but it depends on the guy having low Poison resistances. So I think this guy is better in PvM. To win you teleport and Nova all day.

Bonemancer is by far IMO the best PvP Necro. Essentially what you do to win is be a teleporting, BWalling prick. Fire off IBS (BSpirits become "invisible" at some point if they stay off both your screens long enough), and track with your mouse. They run, you BPrison, and it's a trainwreck. BSpear can also kill... but it's used for herding purposes. Against hard-to-kill classes, play keep away with a BWall (Plant a BWall, and teleport to other side when they run to you). As long as you can teleport and fire BSpirits, you're fine. Decrepping is also funny... as you just bomb them to death with BSpirits (Mine do 4.6k damage... which I hear is "decent-but-not-exceptional").

Oh, quick edit: All Zookeepers/Summoners can be Hybrid Bone with a pair of Marrowwalks.

And the key to why Bonemancer is so good is because of the caster's dilenma. Which is: in order to kill someone, a caster must stay close enough to cast on the guy without him running/teleporting, yet remain mobile enough not to die. Therefore, you must either immobolize your target, or wait until they mess up. With the Bonemancer, you have the ability to solve this problem by killing them WITHOUT having to be on screen. Just fire off BSpirits, and lure them into them/trap them with a quick BPrison.

Bonemancer is probably the most dangerous to the largest variety of builds/gear setups possible out there. There is no way to resist magic damage and Bonemancers have a lot of options other than simply spamming their attack spells.

Oh well, thx for the response anyway, but ive traded for 10 summon skillers now so i might as well continue to make dracoy's summon hybird build. Surely there's more of an advantage against FoHers and other bonemancers etc. if there's more targets around me to be hit. if i can get my skeles doing as much damage with as much life as dracoys then ill be fine. (Hopefully  )
If anyone has a nice rare necro circlet or amulet for trade my acc name is sib18. i offer reasonably well considering im not uber rich ;)
p.s. is FHR as important on a summoner, as with the equipment i've planned ill only get 20% off a rare circlet, unless i get more off a rare amulet.

Ill list my planned equipment so comments can be made if nessecary...

Helm- Rare circlet. +2 necro, 20%FCR, Shaeled for 20%FHR Maybe life/mana/res OR Shako (um) if i can't get my hands on a circlet... (C'mon guys, whisper me... :D )
Armour- Enigma Bp
Amulet- Either Maras 26 OR Rare with +2 necro, FCR, whatever else...
Weapon1- Either Hoto 39% OR Wizardspike with +13all resist jewel
Shield1- Hommunculus with perf. Diamond
Gloves- Either Trang (if i need the FCR) or Frostburn for mana
Rings- Either 2xSoJ OR 1xSoJ and 1x rare with 10FCR etc
Belt- Arach
Boots- Obviously Marrows (I think I have +2Mastery somewhere  )
Switch- CTA 6BO/Lidless
Anni+10xSummon skillers in stash, along with a few 20's and other sc's

I'm determined to make this char the best so all input will be appreciated.
Thanks- Sib

How else do they win? They can do it alot of ways, but it'll always involve teleporting/running and spamming attack spells.
