View Full Version : Bone Nec Or Hammerdin
Which of these should i choose to make for PvP purposes it will be a back up character for my barbarian, but i can completely deck them out with almost anything, this is Useast by the way. Im new to both classes so what would be easier starting off to pubby pk with, any comments or help would be much appreciated Thank You.

bone necro, especially if u have a noblock barb.
barbarians usually will only have problems with other barbs and necros ( but if ur good necs arent that hard, 50/50 duel). so back up ur barb with a nec. if ur good with it, you will kill most barbs because most suck. also if u are good at nvn (necro vs necro), you can take care of necros ur barb cant beat.
hammerdins are ok, but the charms are significantly more expensive (useast nl). also take note that if you arent good vs necros, you will probably lose with both ur barb and a hammerdin, whereas with a necro as backup you may have a better chance.
necro is also a better team dueler than a hammerdin since curses can help physical and elemental dmg (amp/lower resist). also for this same reason and revives/summons, you can bm much easier with a necro.

i like hammerdins better but i agree with luis. dueling other bone necros is a bit hard for hammerdins, so go necro and work on your NvN.

Bone Necro all the way! Good luck finding a 2/20 circlet though.

Well I payed 10 high runes for mine.
i've found 3 :P. nec circlets arent expensive at all unless they are godly:
either +life/resist/stats (high amounts) or 2 sockets.
i prefer 08 valk anyways, more flexibility in gear and the r/w helps alot vs druids/hammerdin.
nec vs hammerdin is pretty one sided, and if you happen to be one of the few non-marrowed necros, its nearly impossibly since desync is arguably the best aproach at dueling a necro (bone prision = gg charge). even without bone prision its not that hard, you can run when they tele on you and usually bs will hit them, or just spam if they desync and namelock them with depry.
