Do i max lower resist and do i use fire golem to kill after there lifes at 1?

Unless im just stupid today I believe that the poisen should kill the monsters unlike in PvP poisen which lowers the players health to 1? Please correct me if im wrong.

yes, firegolem is a great way to get that last 1 hp

also, don't max LR - a few hard points are good enough, unless you have a lot of +skills at which point just one point is enough

For a psn build... how do you handle poison immune monsters? Lower resist doesn't affect psn resistance.
I am talking PvM, not PvP of course.

Erm, pretty sure lower resists does break immunities, the only problem is that it works at 1/5 effectiveness. If you can break the immunity, then let your -res gear (if any) do the rest.

my lower resist breaks any immune monsters, the only monsters it can't get are the venom lords in baal runs. Plus if you have an ok merc, just let it kill one then corpse explode, gets em every time.
