Hi, I need some help with my zealot vs WW barbs im just getting owned. Heres my gear:
Ber Coa
Archon Enigma (strength bonus)
Dungos
Dracs
War Travs
Hoz
Doom (freeze is nice)
Raven/Angelics combo
No gcs but I do have 2 50 pdscs and a 15 poison 3 res charm.
u need to get better on the charms. look for max/ar charms.
btw, do not use doom against ww barb, u will give him more advantage.
Just to let u know, zealot has little chance against ww barb.

Ya, my WW Barb has yet to lose to a Zealot yet. Try charging them when they are NOT whirling and give it a zeal. You'll be screwed if you charge them when they whirl.

Unless you want to teleport, do not use Enigma. Sure, you don't have to use as much strength, but you should consider other armors such as fortitude, duress, CoH, stone, or eth zodded Arks, etc. You'll want defense/DR.
Upped Gores simply are better for pvp, i think, unless you already are loaded with DS/CB/OW.
And yes, do not use Doom. Doom = slow = slower barb movement = you being in ww range longer. Go for a range 3 weapon. Most barbs use CB or Bzerks with are range 3.
Do not use psn charms for dmg unless you are going all out 290's, and even then i wouldn't recommend it. Instead, load up on plain lifers, or fine vitas.
Lastly, don't run after ww or charge into/at a barb. competent ones will give you a full face of ww. a good thing to do is turn off run. If the barb is only trying to clip you, as they should, the only thing you can do is walk into their path and smite/zeal. You might get hit, but you'll also have a better chance of hitting.

Useratuaer: If u cant afford max/ar/life charms, then get mix of plain vita scs and fine scs.

You could try teleporting in front of long whirls and shift-attacking. May help or may not. It works well for smiters, sometimes. I haven't done it myself but I've seen it done and had it done to me (on my ww sin). Also, get boatloads of defense.

Well I found a guy who needed an enigma and I traded him it for an arch coh so im pretty happy with that, also I found some sanders gloves and they make me attack much faster, so I ditched the draculs. And lastly I decided im just not gonna mess with WW barbs :rolleyes:

1. Duress/Stone > CoH for Zealots on NL
2. Draculs > Sanders Glove anytime I wouldn't make a Zealot without draculs
3. Good choice :thumbsup:

I dont think this has been stressed enough:
Do Not use doom vs ww barbs, it will get you hit more than without it and has useless damage compared to most other high end weapons
get a grief zerker if on ladder or ebotd zerker if not
swap the travs for upped gores
ditch the enigma and get a fort, eth stone or eth duress
just use the eth ones for harder duels - a non eth one will do most of the time
Upgrade the zaka if you can still use it, maybe consider getting an exile instead.

...You don't...you kinda, just die...
Or rather make a bva barb, since you'll be dueling mostly in pubs anyway. :lol:

I only play non ladder so greif and fort is outta the question. Also sure you can tell me to just "go get" all this stuff but I spent all my currency making this char.(my last non ladder char) Also whenever I use dracs people get made because of lifetap. Also I was in a pub and there were some ww barbs in there, instead of running I walked and I actually beat 1 he never beat me once. The other was a good match and I beat him a couple of times but he also beat me.

1) Pick your moments
This involves making him miss his whirls. He'll get pissed, get overly agressive..chargesmackzeal charge away. Walk with vigor on..You'll not outpace his run, but his WW speed.
2) You're a zealer
- You statisically should not win.
3) Use cover.
Back that green clad arse of yours up against a wall in a corner...He can't whirl thru you, thusly you can zeal all you like..You'll be eating whirls..but still.
4) Lose the doom.
A slowed whirling barb simply means you are in his range for longer if you stumble into it. You must stay away from it at all costs...a good frozen WW will mean about 12 hits or so...
i think even with vigor, a barbs ww will go faster than a zealers walking. ww travels much faster than its displayed at. which is why its easy to desync with.
dont charge... its a bad idea charging at a barb at all times since he always has the options of wwing away. lots of people say to use corners but personally, i used to ww zealers even if they were backed to the corner. it may be good against stupid barbs but good ones can work thier way in even if you corner yourself.
yes lose the doom.. slow whirling barbs are the last thing you want to deal with. get as much defense as possible and exile. prolly the only things you can really do. try getting around 20kish ar too. you should have no problem hitting barbs unless they are bvbers.
o ya... fill your entire invent with 20 life scs (it seems like your on budget gear, 20 life scs with second mods will boost your life significantly if your poor)
the barb can always insure a 100% win though by two means:
widowmaker on switch
2x doom on switch
so make a bvb barb
widowmaker on switch
2x doom on switch
that is cheat...
but anyway, u dont need those. Just ebotd/grief + beast with proper ww then u can beat all zealots.

a bvb with lifetap is much easier. ^_^
