2) Hey what would be the best equips to use for a daggermancer with max block in expansion? keeping in mind I play mostly pvm buttt occasionally i get attacked by some random guy with nothing better to do.
(in particular, what shield would be best =P)
Sorry for the generalized question but, eh ive been away from this game for a while.
1) Alsoooooo, Another question thats nto so relavent i guess, In normal non expansion diablo 2, is blocking still a constant thing (or does it go up with dex like in exp?)? My characters right nwo are all in normal but ill convert them eventually.
For me leveling up in normal is a lot easier. =P

There is a guide on the subject of Daggermancers and if you do a search (http://forums.diabloii.net/search.php?) for “Daggermancer” you’ll find about two pages worth of threads with most of them concerning gear.

yea? i dont know much about the game yet? how will i know if i have enough dex for max block with that?
takes about 200 dex or so for max block at lvl 99 IIRC.
check out some of the necro guides for the exact dex to blocking formula. think MM's meleemancer guide has it.
and if you hover your mouse over your defence rating a block chance will come up.

Corax, don't forget that when it comes to poison Three Part Trang (most common combination is gloves, belt and shield) rules.
i can forget what i want thank you very much :D
actually you do have a point there.
non psn necros = homu is t3h pwn
psn necro = trang shield with 3 parts trang set

It is a 60% blocking shield. So the Dex investment can be kept in check.

It also has +dex on it, in addition to +str. With those taken into consideration (keeping in mind that the +str on it can be placed into dex), it has better blocking than homoncolus until the mid-90s.
You might want to sheal it though, because your block rate will be horribly slow if you don't.
