ive been doing lots of nm andy runs in the hope that i will find tal's amulet. ive got a little over 350 in mf on and my merc has almost 150. i always try to let my merc get in the last hit, and i play on players 8. i dont know what else i can do. how many runs am i gonna have to do? and/or is there a better place i should look?
also, im gonna be looking for the armor next, so...

There isn't much else you can do. It's all about luck. Statistically, Hell Andy has a better chance of dropping the ammy than NM, but remember, even Normal Meph can drop it. The main reason I brought this was because there's significantly less items that normal Meph can drop when compared to Hell Andarial, which in turn, could mean a greater chance of getting Tal's Amulet.

The only other option is to try and get both of them at the same time. Since the only two act Bosses that can drop Tals armor are Hell Diablo and Baal, your probably better of doing Pindle Shenk and/or Pit runs. This way, you can try to knock two birds off with one stone.

In over 800 runs I did last ladder season, I only ever got about 2 Tal ammy's, and about 3 Tals Armors, so unless you've got luck on your side, don't really be expecting them to start dropping all over the place :) All 3 of my Tals armors were from Pindle.

I would search at meph hell, there I found tal amu think 5 times, and thats the only place where I found it, maybe you get lucky there too :)

You should kill Pindelskin for more times because he can drop lot of items, tal-raha amulet too. At the Hell, of course. Do yo have all tal-rasha set without amulet ? What kind of sorceress do you play?
